I went back to sleep. :)

I think that I am going to vote this morning. Selected polling places, those not in schools, are open starting today.

Got my ballot in the mail last week. Filled it out over a beer. Dropped it in the mailbox and the dark deed is done.

I voted. I continued my streak of having the little "I voted" sticker fall off my jacket before I got home. :D

Got my grocery shopping done, even treated myself to a couple of 4packs of Original NY Seltzer, since it FINALLY came back. The stuff is sooooo good. Time to relax until game time against some 2-bit eastern school; Cubbies on the tv, hockey on the streaming. It should be a wonderful evening.

If I don't get one of those "I Voted" stickers this time, someone's going to lose their job.

Good Morning Lodge.

Best in conference, or best at a conference?

??

Good Morning Lodge!!

We had a presentation on a project I managed from last year at a big engineering conference. Ours was voted best at the conference in our track. No one from my company has ever won this award before. It's a big deal in the controls and process engineering world. Especially when it comes to this engineering field. I think there was something like 3,000-4,000 attendees and nearly 400 presentations (trimmed down from nearly 1,000 submissions).
