I liked the old "regular season plus playoff winner" rule back when it was 4 conferences... I know that was a misinterpretation but I always thought it was nice.

I just looked, and sure enough, that '93-'94 CC team finished 23-11-5. Haha, I'm totally calling karma on this.

Whatever helps me sleep this off, I guess.

3 OTs. Holy Hannah. amazing game but at the end they were all in slow motion. I am exhausted. The BC NU game was starting at 10:33PM/ Back to the days of playing in Midgets. Here's hoping they go into OT too.

That was a hell of a game....could not turn it off even though the MN game started. Far too compelling. Congrats!

It was very intense in person!

All sorts of controversy. Pages of it. Goal or no goal? In the stands we had people calling who were talking to folks watching on TV and they thought the call was correct. From what they were saying it was very clear to the commentators. I still haven't seen it but people have some strong feelings. Was oblivious to it. Sigh. Ignorance is bliss.

MN has to win tomorrow to make the NCAA's, so Tech isn't the only school that is affected.

Helluva two days. Never made it home last night, ended up hanging out with the woman known as "Dancing Girl" (many of you have met her) and crashing at her place (guest room, you dirty-minded fools). :)

Had a minor tailgating crisis, as we were not encouraged to tailgate at the lot we had last year. Did some schmoozing, and found a different lot, that is "next door" to the one we had. So far, so good. Tomorrow will be the final test, so to speak.

I tell you, it's dedicated folks like the three GPLers who paid for parking TWICE yesterday, to make this work. Figured, it was worth the extra $30 total to secure a lot for the long-term good of the group.

Definitely, nothing will happen with her. She's one of those gals where you really have to meet her a few times before you have any sort of comprehension as to what's going on there. And she's all the better for it. :)

We don't hang out often, but we are good friends. She's pretty much like a little sister to the Gopher crowd. :)

*HT. Sigh. Frustrating when you lose 2 games solely to Jimmy Vesey, who should be playing in the NHL.

Oh well, still going to enjoy the FF in a few weeks, especially since it will be my dad's first one.

FTR, we never got kicked out. Officially. It was heavily suggested that we don't tailgate at that particular lot anymore. :(
