How is it there Ralph? You still have power I hope?

Good morning from Denver. Supposed to be 61 today! Whoever had this room before me set the alarm and didn't shut it before they left. I didn't really need that 6am wake up. Going to go out for breakfast and find a store to get water, juice and snacks for the room. And since it's supposed to be so nice, i may try to get a mani/pedi.

But Gurt, you say... didn't your BADgers get stomped by rival Minnesota? Aren't your Blackhawks reeling in the midst of a gut-wrenching losing streak?

Yes and yes.

But the boy... the boy played a whale of a game and his team won 2-0 over a quality opponent.

Scored a gritty powerplay goal midway through the third to give us the 2 goal lead and played tenacious pain-in-your-arse forecheck the rest of the way to help nail it down.

Received (and earned) the championship belt which goes to the player with the best effort.

Goalie got the hard hat and deservedly so as he kept us in the game as we got outplayed in the first 2 periods.

Then most of the parents all went to one of our sponsors (a local restaurant) and got drunk.

Oh... and GOOD morning!

Today is the day!

Caribbean BBQ, outstanding beer, Memphis BBQ, more outstanding beer, then a good old-fashioned night out with great live music.

Nice! Just from reading here I know how hard he worked and it's nice to see things falling in place for him.

Keep him away from Eaves.....embrace your inner-Maroon & Gold......continue to allow the kid to excel. ;) :D

It's early yet, but I'm calling a spot at the HHT. We're up 3-1 at the first intermission, and against WMU, SCSU being up early has meant a big win all season so far.
