Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #181: Holidaze

Good morning Lodge. Have a half day today then going yo head home, jump in my car and head to Babies R Us to get my last presents. Need to also get some milk and a few other groceries. And then to finish up my wrapping. It's nice out now but rain is expected later today and tonight. Temps are supposed to be high 60s tomorrow. Awesome.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #181: Holidaze

I think I got done last night. I'll do inventory tonight to be sure.

Good morning Lodge.

I just picked up Xmas eve and Xmas day meat for dinner. 10 pounds of prime rib and a 15 pound ham. Drool...........

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #181: Holidaze

Off until Monday and since we will probably go see the new Star Wars this weekend I decided to watch episodes 4,5, & 6 again.
My take-a-way so far? I would have scrapped C3PO in a hurry. Good God is that thing annoying.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #181: Holidaze

Speaking of Star Wars spoilers, the PM for my project that's working directly with the Federal Reserve reminds me of a character shown in one of the previews to the movie - the one with the rabbit and fox cops where they go into the DMV for some info, only to find the DMV is manned by all sloths. This PM is one of the sloths; it's not only his speech pattern that's slow but his thought process can't seem to keep up with anyone else either. So aggravating.

Good Morning Lodge.

I think everyone else on the river would prefer you NOT sleep at work.

When I bought the Star Wars tickets for Christmas the theatres were filling already. Started looking at late afternoon and had to go to 12:45 to find three seats together in the back of the theatre.

Eh, just trying to add some excitement into their lives ;)

Going to be mid 80's in Tampa through the weekend. Not complaining!

After having a busy day up until around 1:00, it's been D-E-D dead here the past four hours. I'm expecting much the same tomorrow, where we get a two-hour early parole, assuming our work is done.

I am spoiled, except for very rare instances mother mining is always closed on Christmas Eve. Only exception I can think of is when Christmas falls on a Thursday, and then mm gives us Friday as the holiday and in those instances groups I've worked in have usually cut us loose by 1 or 2 at the latest.

The Federal Reserve is open, so we're open. People get horked off when they can't get their money.

Good Evening, Lodge!

Half day tomorrow and then the continuation of preparing holiday dinner. The in-laws are hosting, but I'm making sure that I get my family meal this holiday season. I can only handle pretentious vegetarian/organic bs for so long before I get back to my place to enjoy real food, beer, and wine.

Worse than Jar Jar. I will maintain that position until the day I die.

Work was beyond dead. I had maybe five things to pick in the last 90 minutes. It's usually around 50ish...

Half day tomorrow, or so. I expect it to be even more dead.

8-12 at the office tomorrow. I can give you one good guess as to how much is getting done tomorrow.
