Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #180: Holiday Onslaught

After church today, I get the fun time of discussing will/estate stuff with the parents. Not looking forward to that conversation; however necessary, I don't like talking about that stuff.

I know I'm going to have to have that conversation with my parents, too. They're both 65 now, and when the time comes, I'm probably going to be in charge of things, seeing as how I'm the oldest.

I found a great Irish Pub in Universal, which is where I hung out while my daughter & niece went on rides. :D

Scarlet can't do the Irish thing. The rides have already knocked the ish out of her, all that's left is the Ire. And is an angry person really what you think of when you think of the Irish?

Depends on how much alcohol they've had.

I wasn't going to spend the amount of money that I did to get into those parks to sit in a pub thankyouverymuch. Regardless of how I felt. I did get a bit of a second win and went on a few more rides. I'm back at the hotel now,. I may take a nap. .

The talk wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Everything is BEYOND organized. Basically, my brother and I just have to tell the lawyer to do his lawyering, and close/transfer some bank accounts. Everything else is pretty much set up already.

I am cute girl and need to find a guy.

I've heard a theory that this is intentional on the part of the scammers. The logic is if you're sharp enough to realize it's a scam, they don't want to waste any more time on you.

Makes sense. Still, I miss the days of the Nigerian princes and their cleverly crafted stories of asset transfers.

Related: that Siri commercial with the "chance to earn millions of money currency" whatever is HILARIOUS. I laugh every time.

Me too.

Good morning Lodge. Out to breakfast at a place I thought was diner-y but was a bit too fancy-schmancy, especially for breakfast. I should've gone to the Dunkin Donuts I found yesterday.

I would be ok with getting paid to not work!
Trying to look busy when you don't have work is hard. Knowing that they can't keep paying you to sit around and you'll be out on your *** soon is not easy either. I'd rather have a steady work load and some sense of security.
