Now I want to play cribbage. We are talking about the card game, right? Or am I being naive and cribbage is a euphemism for something?

Euphemisms and me? No way. Cribbage the card game naturally. ;)

But if you want to teach me your version of cribbage I can then try it out on mrs g. :D

Cribbage is awesome.

Been chilling on my patio in the evening all week, and the lack of bugs has been surprising. I think they really bombed the hell out of the creek this year with spray. Hope this trend continues.

A few years ago I taught a friend how to play cribbage. First hand I deal a perfect hand to myself. I have been playing since I have been 7 years old and I had never seen one until then. I freak out. My friend who was just dealt his first hand asks "is that good?" Nobody besides me was there to cherish the moment.

The only perfect hand I ever had was against the guy who taught me how to play: my grandpa. I was about 10 at the time (started playing around 7-8 years old). Like you, no one else to see the moment.

I was perfect once. But it was golf, for one lonely par 3.

Related: the only triple bullseye I ever hit in darts was on my 21st. Needless to say, it was lucky, and I was inebriated. Also have hit the 8 ball in pocket on a break. Again, lucky. That one was in my early 20's, when I was playing 2-3 times a week (bar was a block away).

I threw in a dart league back in college. I was average on a great night. One night though I hit two white horses. It was amazing because I was lit when the games started. I can't recall the exact amount of shots but I know Cuervo and three wise men were involved with each white horse which makes the second white horse an absolute miracle.

No league here, but should've. IIRC, 3 rounds~ of Cricket is a perfect Cricket game. We were throwing 4-5 rounds with ease.

Evening Lodge, just started playing cribbage. I really enjoy the game because it's one of the few card games that has a board to show you where the game stands. That makes a huge difference for me.

You can play with a pen and paper, too. Oh, that might be too advanced for tUMD peeps. ;)

3 rounds is indeed a perfect game. Triple 20-19-18, followed by triple 17-16-15, and then take care of the bullseye in the 3rd round. Or some variation thereof.

Thanks. It's been much more than a decade since I threw.

Funnest time was when I was throwing against a very good buddy of mine (he's same build, but a couple inches taller, therefore more reach). Decided to throw left-handed to make it more challenging. :D That was fun, but tiring. He got me in a best of 9.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: 17th Edition: Summer Isn't Just A Stripper's Name

What's fun about cricket is that you can pull that off in the first three rounds and lose. Not likely, but possible.
