Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #175: More Spring Cleaning

Good Morning, Lodge!

Got 2 of the 3 major projects shipped yesterday. Boss leaves and comes back 20 minutes later with a 12 pack of beer, a 6 pack of beer, 2 bottles of wine, and a bottle of liquor and said "drink up everyone".

My biggest regret in leaving is not finishing that project, it's gonna be cool.

I'm very excited to see it completed; I've heard great things.

I've been waking up about every two hours or so but starting to feel much better.. A few more hours of sleep and keep up the vitamin C and I'm hoping I'll be okay to head to South Bend tomorrow.

Good morning Lodge.

Congrats goldy.

Good Morning Lodge. Ice on the pond again this morning.

You are in Korea?
Japan.

Sorry if my post was unclear. I'm not going to work "almost in Wisconsin" - one of the primary clients is there - the same outfit GE works for. The company I'm going to work for is across the river from the Xcel Energy Center in, I think, West St. Paul.

Thanks all for the congrats.

We finally got it through the State Code Review as it is doing some creative things with the large open space (NOT an atrium - code geek issue). It is well overdue from a programmatic perspective as it puts several functions for the nursing, dental assistant and other health care specialties in one spot versus scattered around campus. It's called the Clinical Sciences Building (CSB) though I wonder if someone will get their name put on it, somebody ponied up cash to pay for the basement.

A warm day and I went out bike riding.

And it rained.

It stopped now, but I don't trust Mother Nature.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #175: More Spring Cleaning

Mornin', Lodj.

Hi Dave! Welcome back.

Thanks very much, g. You know, after my son told me in the fall he didn't want to play hockey any more, I didn't follow much hockey for a while. Too sad-making! Boo-hoo! The post-season has dragged me back in again. But my kid learned how to skate all right, likes being out on ice, still asks to go over to the park with sticks once in a while; that's not so bad.

Nice. Both my kids went to the grade school near Izzy's, assuming you mean the Lions and not purple & white monster on Summit.
My son went to the HS where the boys dress like bellhops and my daughter went to other HS in the Twin Cities with a brandy tradition. ;) Both childrens toured and liked the river rat school, in fact my daughter really wanted to go there but getting them downtown was too complicated for a simpleton like me. Plus, due to the special needs required due to her hearing loss it was better she remain with the boundaries of the Saintly City.

The price of poker just keeps going up, son is a Sr. & daughter is a Fr. at schools of the Roman tradition, both in the greater metropolitan St. Cloud area. This is our year of Ramen.

Yes indeed, the Lions it is. They're K-8, not just elementary, I wonder if the middle school part was added recently? I just went to their Dad Olympics (or something like that) Friday night. Beer, pizza (meat-free!), and floor hockey. Great combo. I've now trodden that same gym space you probably did . . . cue "The Mists Of Time" . . . .

Watching the old dog here tonight, he's been dry heaving all night. starting to think that it might be time for him. He is like 16 years old, maybe older...

Sad to report here today that old Zack has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I've got a very sad puppy here who is going to miss bossing him around. :(

Where has this day gone?????? It's almost 12:30 already????? The amount of times I've had to tell people that I am out tomorrow has been astounding. Even after I tell them, they are thinking of scheduling a meeting or two, or need stuff.

Nice!
Saw some FB pictures from the dad Olympics....I think from Mr. Phun (formerly of KFAN fame) who has kids there, really nice guy. If your kid is into theater their summer program is really fun...my daughter did it for a few years. I am pretty sure it's been K-8 since the dawn of time....get ready for trips to Wolf Ridge & Washington DC - fun times!
