In my experience, the rates are the same. However, I would still recommend shopping a couple/few different sites, just because you never know.

Transitioning to Outlook right now. Going really slowly. I hope this isn't a sign of how Outlook normally works, as it seems very slow and glitchy at this point.

Considering the number of enterprises that use Outlook for email I think it'll work out. :)

I don't know yet, I think it is still in the stage of transitioning all of my stuff into the program, and that is why it isn't responding like I expect. I will give it some time to settle down.

Upon the initial load of emails in the morning, it'll have slow reaction times when trying to view new emails. After that initial load you should see notable improvement, and the only issues with performance at that point will be when the email server isn't responding, but that's not the fault of your email client. Otherwise it's a solid application, no complaints.

Yeah, it is much better now. Now I just have to figure out how to get the settings the way I want them and where everything is located, which will just take some getting used to.

edit: quick question for you, or any other outlook users. Is there a way to change the settings so when I double click to open an email, or a calendar invite it doesn't open a new window? In my old email program, they opened as tabs, so I didn't end up with a bunch of windows open.

What were you using before Outlook?

Here in the Philadelphia airport waiting for my co-worker's flight. She couldn't get on my 8:30 flight but booked the 9:30. I actually didn't board till 8:30 and saw her at the gate. I was going to get the rental car them swing back to pick her up but since we took off so late her flight is only about 20 minutes behind me.

And whoever US Air uses for their Twitter account doesn't quite grasp the concept of customer service.

Has anyone had anything at all positive to say about US Air in the past 25 years? I have a ton of family in the Pittsburgh area and they mostly keep quiet about the company because some in the family work for the company and it's based in the area.

WAS based in the area.
Pittsburgh airport is now half empty due to losing the usair hub

No. Outlook opens new windows for everything it does. I hate it and I've been using Outlook for my work email for over a decade.

I did have one year with Lotus Notes; it seemed awkward to use. Then going back to Outlook at the next company was more frustrating when I found things that Lotus did that Outlook couldn't.

We are doing the same thing over the next few months. I can't wait. What were you on?

Edit: Based on the fact that you said tabbed view in a subsequent post, it sounds like you were in Lotus as well.
