So, I slept through my alarm this morning to wake up for my flight from Albany to Pittsburgh. Guessing some carryover from Thursday night and my trip to the Bronx. Anyways, wake up 20 minutes before flight was supposed to leave, nope not making that obviously. Only other Southwest flight to Pittsburgh was already sold out. Figures.

So I got a rental car relatively cheap, drove the 7 hours to Pittsburgh virtually all the way across NYS on the thruway. Still not a fun drive, never has been and probably never will be. Atleast the car was pretty decent, Ford Fusion Titanium.

Bucs @ Steelers game tomorrow, looks like absolutely beautiful fall weather for western PA. 80ish and sun, light winds. Hope I wake up on time Monday AM for my flight back to Florida...

I'll bet Mr enjoyed sleeping with the extra "kitty" in bed too!! One of the early perks of empty-nester'ism :)

Good morning Lodge.

Beautiful sunrise this morning. Clear blue sky. The lake is glass and the reflection of the fall colors off the lake is amazing.

Denver omelettes, cowboy coffee, milk and juice has been served for breakfast.

:rolleyes: Mr les was home in 978 land working.

Lil did well. Coaches even said nice things about him in the interview article :D still in the developing phase but they are telling me they are impressed which is never a bad thing.

HFT!!! Great trip up north as Yankees walk off Jeter's final home game and Bucs steal one in Steel City! Back to Tampa tomorrow early.

Great weekend: fun beer festival, entertaining NFL games, crushed my opponent in FFL (thank you Asiata/Walsh), and booked my hotel room for my Dec Houghton trip. Add to that the perfect weather...I'm happy.

Back to the grind tomorrow, but at least I have Friday off.
