So Jr has hockey Captains' Practice right after school till 4:45, then he is shooting trap and sign-up is 5-7 PM. It will take 45 minutes minimum to get from the hockey rink or our house to the range and he should eat something. Since I work late tonight Mrs will have to go home and get his gun to bring it to him at Chipotle so he can eat and head right to the range. He can't bring the gun or ammo with him since it is prohibited from school grounds.

Greetings from Syracuse. Here in our local office with Paralympian track and field star Blake Leeper. He's a double amputee. And he's pretty amazing. Heard his speech twice already and I've teared up both times.

I was told to be prepared to work 12 hour shifts every other week or so. I do it twice a week. I guess that counts as "or so" though.

Officially done watersports for 2 weeks. Currently in Nashville Int'l, soon to be saddling up to a barstool and listening to some live honkytonksports. Got 2+ hours before my flight, so I should be able to sufficiently have a liquid lunch.

Also enrolled for TSA pre-check, since I got to the airport with almost 4 hours to spare. No more belts, shoes and laptops to be removed for me!

Going through airport security like it's 1999.

Unfortunately, the TSA enjoys randomly sending general population through there, they are clueless as to what to do, and TSA doesn't explain the procedures. Slows things down almost worse than the normal lines.

/got randomly selected today as well, ironically.

I got to use Pre exactly once, when I had a Priority 1 boarding pass from DTW --> MSP

All right. Mea culpa. It was my fault, not Etrade. GODDAMMIT!!!

Wish I thought I could walk out of the Georgia Dome alive if I went to the game solo. Instead, I'm on my couch partaking in beersports. And it tastes divine.

Quiet end to my week at work, thankfully. Perfect for my long weekend.

Given the weather, I just might sit on the patio all day, reading/playing poker and basically escaping life, you might say.
