Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

That maybe an understatement.
Lets put it this way...I don't think we'll be accused of not knowing how to throw a party any time soon. :p

I expected it to be a good time, but I didn't expect several people to tell us that it was the best, most fun wedding they've been to. That kind of stuff is nice to hear, especially for the Mrs since she put so much work into it. People loved the venue, our DJ was pretty much the best possible choice, and the Auto Museum, candy buffet and growlers were all big hits.

Your reaction when I gave you condolences was priceless: you said thank you out of habit, then it dawned on you that some random person shouldn't know those things about you and you got this very concerned look on your face.

I am making good use of the B&N bag that the books were in. I can put stuff in it, grasp the little hand hole on the top and still use the crutches while carrying stuff, like my water jug.

And it was really hilarious seeing you try to learn how to smoke a cigar. Friggin' classic. :D

I hope he at least knew to cut the cap off first.

It was actually done beforehand, for everyone. His best man bought them and had the cutter, so as he handed them out, he cut them. Either way, bbdl DID know that much. In the end, he just gave up trying.

My date of course cancelled on me the morning of a wedding we were going to (supposed illness...likely bailing).

But I got the maid of honor's number, so it's all good in the hood.

Just about good night. Trying to re-establish the ol' circadian rhythms. Slow process right now. Having to not work tomorrow hurts that corrective measure. ;)

Rough Monday morning after a weekend like that, at least all I need to do for work is fly out to Denver then drive to the springs. If anyone else is flying through map around 1030 today and wants to get a beer let me know.

Good Morning Lodge. Supposed to be a hot one here today.

Family friend is taking me to PT today since Mrs and Jr are at the funeral.

Travel wears me out more than working. It's sneaky. I feel fine while traveling then at some point after I arrive it hits me.

Need a new phone. Waffling b/w the iPhone or android based. Have a droid. Any thoughts? Anyone switched?

I had an Android a few years ago, switched to the iPhone and have liked them mostly. The change in interface will create an adjustment period, make no mistake on that. It largely comes down to preference and maybe playing with some phones at the store.
