Yeah, Sunday wasn't good. Notified my parents...toughest thing I have ever done. Again, I thank you all for everything. It's really what is keeping me going right now.

Dropped my car off at the shop today since the brake light has been coming on since the day after bbdl's bachelor party. Front brakes are shot, brake lines were rusted through, serpentine and power steering belts were cracked, and there is a small oil leak. High estimate is $1215.01. Not even sure my car is worth that much. Saving for a new car has moved up to towards the top of my to do list.

EDIT: Oh, my fuel lines were also severely corroded as well, and they strongly recommend replacing soon. Another $500, but that will wait a few weeks.

Yikes. I'm suddenly lucky with mine only being $750. That really blows.

Well I passed the girl stage about 40 yrs ago. As a woman I wouldn't have a response either. Really. Can anyone cover a sporting event without picking a few players/participants to deify while ignoring all the other people on the field? Lazy journalism.

Mornin'. Figures that I wake up this early. I never can sleep well on days I am scheduled to start a road trip. Oh well. There are a couple places I'd like to stop at before my end destination tonight, so I guess I'll have some extra time for that. Weather looks perfect for dropping the top on the Jeep, too. Sooooo much a plus. :)

Only 3 more days until the wedding, but first things first, 1 day until I pay $230 to get butt raped by a US Open golf course!
