It's gonna be rainy.

Niece's bday party today. All she wants is My Little Pony Stuff. *sigh* I hope no one at the store knows about Bronies, or I'm screwed. :o

I'm sure they've heard the "this is for my daughter/niece/etc." excuse many times, Brent. :D

Good morning Lodge.

Supposed to really cool down the beginning of next week. Prediction is lows in the 40's and highs not much out of the 50's.

Thankfully the cashier was probably not in tune enough with odd fan-cults to know about Bronies. :) Just got my niece Scrabble. I DID put it in a MLP gift bag, though.

Turned out to be a gorgeous night, after a dreary overcast/misty day. Kind of wish I had a cigar, now.

It was a rainy lazy morning here. The g family spent most of the morning recharging our batteries. The sun came out around 1 and we spent the afternoon into early evening on the lake.

I'm dreading tomorrow as it's back home and then back to reality Monday morning. F an a.

Fwiw the only thing I am looking forward to is a shave, I haven't shaved in over two weeks. Probably one on the longer no shave streaks in many many years. People have commented that I look good in a beard and Mrs. g really likes it (if you know what I mean) but for some reason I am not a beard guy. Maybe I will try it again in Movember.

I usually have the week-long no shave going, out of laziness and I don't really have to keep appearances for my job. I actually like having a short beard (longer than the 3-day no shave, but not really hairy). Think: Jason Statham: http://images.fandango.com/r93.4/Im...tory/performer images/p242471/parker-pm-1.jpg

And I am SO looking forward to this next week, with the road trip and all. I need to get away for a bit.

My dad was a Wookie so I can grow a beard fairly quick. I usually shave 5-6 days a week. I don't own any sort of trimmer. Maybe down the road I will get a trimmer and keep my beard trimmed to that of a four or five day grow. I'm sure that's possible??????

I'm currently enjoying good old reliable. Crown and Coke.

I have a trimmer (also doubles as a hair-cutter :D). It's worth it, trust me. Won't get you that blade shave, obviously, but other than that, you would be good to go. I also get the 5 o'clock shadow at 2pm. ;)
