Interesting terrain here. Storms came through late yesterday while we were playing-could see them coming from what seemed 300 mi away.

Server is down at work, so no e-mails, no access to saved files/databases. But I has interwebs. Going to make it tough to accomplish things. Gorgeous day out, they should probably just send all of us home.

Going to a recording of "Ask Me Another" (NPR show) tonight. Should be fun.

Howdy Lodge. I'm going to see Billy Joel at Fenway Park tonight. Little nervous about the weather. It's OK now but there's a chance it rains.....that would not be a fun time. As our Brazilian operation is a national sponsor of the World Cup, we've been doing a lot of internal, employee events around it and have had this FIFA Live event in our cafeteria every few dats, televising certain matches. Today's US game was always on the books but we had no idea how big of a game it was going to be. It's probably going to be packed. Should be fun.

Got home and had to take a nap. **** was I tired. I worked my *** off the last few weeks amd earlier this week on my training stuff so I don't feel bad about not doing much work this afternoon.

Yo.

This humidity can stop any time now. Getting a new conveyor at work, and they started re-doing the cables and such today, which meant removing some overhead fans in some places. Ugh. No air movement, warm and very humid, and physical activity do not mix. I was fine when I was doing my forklift jockey thing, as all the power equipment have at least one fan on them, but as soon as I moved to the shipping part of things....all the sweat. Just drains all the energy from you. Needless to say, I am dead tired.

Yeah, I've noticed the guys in the yard cruising back and forth on the forks even though they have nothing to go get. They just want a breeze.

It is Friday. I am ready for 6PM. For those keeping count- I hate my job. The computer sucks and I swear they do updates to ef f everything up just so they can make you need the IT support and keep their cash flow up. What as5hat updates a medical program with code that screws up the ability to prescribe? Did you know Prilosec and Crestor are controlled substances that need to be handwritten and printed to be signed? Neither did I. Someday they are going to get a person with a modicum of intelligence and possibly even someone who might, jiust might know anything about medicine. When they do I will know I need to check myself in for a work up on delusions. Fuc2 am I ****ed. A whole day more of the fiasco. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! / ohh that felt good!
