Congrats, mook!

Long day today. And apparently some of my bro's in-laws didn't even know I was engaged, or had already forgotten about it. Thankfully, only spent a short amount of time there, before we had to be back at Rubette's for our Easter.

Absolutely GORGEOUS day out, though.

Crazy? The crazy part was hiding Easter eggs in my yard at 5am while wearing the good old s&ss. Want to know how I knew it was cold out? :D Happy Easter!

Excuse me while I go chug a gallon of mind eraser!

Not a whole lot done today. Did try to replace the vent on top of mom's trailer today, but she got one that was just an inch too small. So we slapped the old one back on it and duct taped a garbage bag on top of it to keep it from leaking in until Mom gets another one for it. It will work for now.

Had a quiet Easter. Went to church in the morning, went for a run in the afternoon, served slow-cooker pot roast for dinner, and now I sit here with one of the cats.

Morning, teh Lodge.

Minnesota playoff records in the last 10 years:
#mnwild - 4-14
#Vikings - 2-4
#MNTwins - 1-12
#Twolves - 0-0

But we're friendly! :rolleyes::mad:

Happy Easter Lodge / Holy crap, that Easter Vigil service was loooong last night - like 2:20 or so.

At my in-laws' ours ran 1:50. No baptisms. And they skipped three readings; I didn't know you could do that!

mookie got himself a hole in one today. (#3 for those of y'all who are counting :D )

Congrats, you hacker!

Happy Easter Lodge.

Holy crap, that Easter Vigil service was loooong last night - like 2:20 or so. Had a baptism, four RCA confirmations and two kids who were sorta confirmed. Add all the other stuff and it went forever. Thought Jr was going to have to be alter server but the kid did show up so Jr was Eucharist Minister along with Mrs.

Going to some friends' house for dinner later. Mrs is cooking now and I'll grill a little just before we go.
Pretty sure I would have walked out somewhere between the 75 minute mark and the 90 minute mark. I start to get really aggitated after about 60 minutes of church. An hour is plenty to get the point across.

Are you sure you're not just recapping a reality show from CMT?

My church ran about 1:45; roughly 1 hour for the sermon itself, then about 30-45 minutes of praise and worship.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Church was about an hour for me, it was the 39th year of Easter sermon for our pastor who will retire this summer. His best services are always Easter. He'll be missed.

Long couple of days ahead here..Trying to be as effective with my time as possible so I can watch hockey.
