That's got to be the highest scoring national championship game since...?

EDIT: Oh fark it, ran a Google search and came up with the Wiki article. Last time more than 10 total goals were scored was the 1991 NMU-BU thriller, won by the Wildcats 8-7 in triple OT.

*HT

Union and CCT with championships in the same year? There is no god.

Sure there is, his name is Karma.

What a fantastic weekend of hockey on the national stage. It seemed each game was better than the previous one, with tonight being an incredibly exciting game. Not sure neutral fans could have asked for anything better, including the weather.

Yeah, I need to stop blaming others. Staying here was not a bad idea, but probably shoulda rethought it. Especially since I lost more money today, after I win back all my previous losses.

Nope!

Her mistake was staying in AC :p

Next year we can all go betting at the dog track :p

If i can get a handle on some issues then I want to be in for next year and F4s going forward. Just wish it wasn't in Boston... zzz... zzz...

Yawn. Morning, at PHL. Hard to believe we have almost 6 months before next season. But what a weekend of hockey to end this one. 4 very good, deserving teams and 3 awesome games. Hockey fans were spoiled this weekend.

Not for nothing but you RPI fans need to let go a little. Union put together a hell of a season no matter how you look at it. At least the ECAC shines bright for another year.

No it doesn't. It's represented by a group of thugs that start a fight simply because they lose a game, and a coach that punches student athletes. I hope to hell recruiting violations are found.

This is a bummer
This is a bummer, man.

Fun season. Hard to sit at the *HHT when you play in the season's last game and lose to a hell of a team. :).

Come on over to the Country CLub. That's where we hang out after the season is over. Nice accommodations, chocolate milk, coffee and various beverages. Everyone here included. There won't be many kittens to pet but other than that it is nice.

*HT. But, a good season. Ugh.

A couple times last night during the game I just stood up and walked out of the room/house because alltherage, and didn't want to offend the other guests. It was a good run, I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

Morning, teh Lodj.

Phew that was a game last night. I felt exhausted after about the first 5 minutes -- and it got crazier the rest of the 1st.

Am I crazy, or did Minnesota have one just *inches* from a goal with like 2 minutes to go -- the announcers even said, "I think Defender X saved that one!" -- and it was the next rush up for Union that made it 6-4? Just inches from a 5-5 game in the final minutes. Amazing.

I think for the non-rabid fan this game was perfect: glad the little guy with the upperclassmen got their first championship, glad the powerhouse with a really young team gets a taste and makes you go "holy cow that'll be some team next year", and an exciting game overall.
