*HT.

So, 2 days down, 1 to go. The B1G Mistake Tailgate has had an engagement, a bus taking out two cars in the parking lot, 13 different homebrews, singing, and (thanks to Shirtless) tv coverage via Dish of the other tournaments. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
The B1G Fail tailgate sounds fancy. Yikes to the bus story.

:mad::mad::mad:

Need to win tomorrow and have UML win and Ohio State lose...
That would be nice

*HT... Double OT loss... :(
 that stinks!

There was a field trip (looked like middle schoolers) to the historical building that is part of the lot. So, the kids first got to see what tailgating was all about (this was maybe 10 in the morning?). When the bus came to pick them up, and was leaving, the bus didn't quite make the turn, and the back end bowed a tailgate on WPoS's pickup, and crushed in the top of another tailgater's car. The bus stops, one of the bus people came out, everyone taking pics of everything.

THEN the driver, for whatever reason, started backing up the bus again, and almost took out a cooler/beer darts mat. If the 12-15 of us standing in that immediate area didn't start screaming like crazy, the bus would've kept backing up. Moron.

Anyway, rise and shine, folks! Picking up MNS for the tailgate in about 30 minutes; and while Madre has been a trouper the last couple days for tailgating, she decided to skip out on today, since MN isn't playing. She loves "our people" as she refers to them, though, and is looking forward to her next hockey game. Quote her last night, "I...I'm angry! We played like crap! I've never felt like that about sports before! It's weird!"

After she said that, my immediate thought was that scene from "Freaks:" One of us, one of us, we accept you one of us! Gooble gobble!:

Is this the part when I say I told you so? Sounds like she is perfect!
I treied really hard. I lasted days!! but I couldn't help myself :p

Ahhhhhh, I don't know Brent. You propose, next game Minnesota plays, they lose??? Hmmmmmm. ;). Kidding. Congrats to you both.

Not sure what to do today. Tried to go Frozen Four shopping last night. Bough a new duvet cover and bed skirt. Won't do me any good in Atlantic City. Should do some laundry and pack for my trip to San Fran on Wednesday that may not happen because we're supposed to get a nor'easter that day. On March 26th. Just STOP WINTER!!! It's SPRING for Pete's sake.

And les, at one HE tourney at the Garden, a UNH fan told my BU friends who wear their jerseys to every game "I hope you get cancer and die." as they were leaving their row at the end of a period. Nice, huh?
The UNH fans on here are pretty cool. Someof the ones in real life are real knuckleheads!

Good Morning, Lodge!

Meeting up with the family before the games today. Annual tradition to prove that I am the black sheep of the family. They are all Whioux fans.

Mornin' y'all.

It'll be interesting to see how many Sioux fans stuck around for the most important 3rd place game in a loooong time.

Good morning.
Gophers lost but the sun came up today, this will undoubtably PO some people on GPL. ;)

Brent - Not WPoS' restored Dodge, I hope.
WPoS put up some pics on Facebook, it was the blue Sonoma he uses for tailgating.

So our 42 inch tv in the den is dying which afforded me the perfect excuse to pull the trigger today on a 55 inch replacement. No more squinting. Go me!

Now there's almost no reason to go down to the basement "theater." Other than the surround sound and comfortable recliners of course.

This is much better (than the old tv)... hope the Badger games look nice on it tonight. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Found out the bus wasn't backing up due to driver. The driver left it in neutral

A bit chilly this morning, but had a 3 sided shelter, with a couple propane heaters and a Dish TV for some kicky-ball games that a couple people wanted to watch. Omelettes-in-a-bag were made, then just generally hanging out watching the Wild game on said TV. Quite the weekend, and I'm exhausted. Yep, the GPL tailgate is srrrrs bzness. ;)

If your team wins its game, you get to sit at the Happy Hockey Table and enjoy adult pop, chocolate milk, MARGARITAS!, or whatever your preference.

If your team loses, you get the dubious honor of a seat at the * Hockey Table. The asterisk represents a word that rhymes with duck.

Should your team tie or have a bye week, you can enjoy a hot steaming bowl of noodles at the Tie/Bye Sushi Bar and hope senpai notices you.

It's a Rep Lodge thing. When your team wins, you sit at the Happy Hockey Table. When your team loses, you sit at the * Hockey Table. And when your team is done for the year (eliminated from contention), you join us at the * Hockey Country Club. For example, as a Northern alum, I'm at the * Hockey Country Club.

Okay, watch how I misuse it in my first attempt...

I'm also at the Happy Hoops Table!

There are other tables for other sports, as well. The bouncyball tables are a little dusty; don't get used much.

Was nice to see Mankato State win this evening. Probably would have said the same thing had Ferris won. Just trying to wind down and get the baby to stay asleep.
