He's great on the attack and positioning himself in the D zone to break up passes, but he's just too small to ride down a crashing winger.

My brother had the post game show on, it sounded like Frank was watching the game with maroon colored glasses. It's best that you didn't see this one.

Let's put it this way: what anyone reads on GPL in the game thread...it's very peaceful compared to what was said in the Live Chat.

Back from the hospital. Man, am I glad we went early. The waiting room at 8:45am was empty. It was overflowing when we left. Dad has an upper respiratory virus, nor pneumonia. I think he's just literally exhausted and run down, then he caught something, which is making him too tired to literally do anything, including eat. He doesn't eat, gets weaker, more tired and dehydrated. We were worried he may have had a small stroke as he was having some difficulty walking. They tested for that and ruled it out. I think he is just so weak and listless and standing up made him lightheaded. They gave him an IV of saline. He ate a little when he got home. I went out and bought a bottle of Pedialyte as well. They gave him a prescription for an antibiotic and gave him one. I pulled the nurse aside and asked her to tell him directly that taking it will not conflict with any of his other meds, which is an issue with him.

It's hard watching a parent go through this. I'm drained. Plus I've been up since 5am. Was thinking about passing on the game tonight but it hasn't started snowing yet so I'm going to go.

Going to the third place game by myself. Jr got asked to play in a charity game against some former NHLers, so Mrs is taking him to that. The game is for the tourney the squirt team is in. It's coaches vs NHL alumni. He's having a blast helping coach and the players and parents love him.

Last year Zink had me watching through my fingers everytime he got on the ice. This year he is a different player. w00t!!

and in the fun dept- having 15 for brunch tomorrow and the water main just outside the neighborhood blew- again, for the third time :mad: in 3 months. So, no water. Right when I needed to be washing the dishes and wiping stuff down as the last prep for the kitchen to be ready.
