The only way FSN was giong to get the feed was to use the SCSU announcers, Jim Rich and Mark Parrish. I like Parrish.

That said, HHT! :D

I was expecting a close game. I kind of want to be at bbdl's just to see the meltdown. I would add to it. :)

Adding to the FSN feed part of this, SCSU has always required FSN to use its drunken cameramen, but then FSN would provide its on-air team to call the games. FSN is looking to cut its production costs on Gopher games, so they just let SCSU's team call it.

A couple times during the broadcast I wondered if the person behind the camera was either a small child or a monkey. I also enjoyed the announcers as they were homers and not for the Gophers. :) (And by no means is that an endorsement for sccc. If I had to choose between sccc and mn I would choose death. :) )

HHT for me. Kit Kats, Milky Way, Snickers, Twizzlers and just about any other sugar is on me as Captain America and the Hulk made a haul last night.

Morning Lodge. *HT last night.

Pond had a skin of ice over about 90% of it this AM. Winter is coming.

Dave - BSM can score some points, but can't stop anyone. Jr said there were about 5 kids skating at Captains' practice last night as a whole bunch went to the FB game instead. I'm sure he got more out of the skating than watching that debacle.

SCSU's camera operators are all mass comm. students. I just wish they'd give these kids some tests on following where small objects go on a white background before letting them operate the main camera. That kid couldn't follow jack last night.

I saw a few things that cracked me up such as.......... A break in the game before faceoff. Shot goes from faceoff circle to some female in the stands wearing a skimpy Halloween costume. A very blurry close up of her crotch area. Next break in action they go from a save by a goalie to a very EXTREME close up to the face of gopher asst coach. :D

At least they were on TV.

Howdy Lodge. It's a cold/raw/rainy day here. Was going to go out this morning, maybe do some shopping. Instead I've done three loads of laundry and a bunch of ironing and have caught up on a bunch of my DVR'd shows. Good tradeoff.

I hate that we turn the clocks back tonight.

No real meltdown. We were busy playing Hammerschlagen and BeerDarts, and trying to keep warm (party was outside). I think it was about midnight, when only a couple people were left, when we moved indoors. The firepit in the driveway helped a little, but not much. The last of us crashed out around 4am-ish. And watching bbdl try to take out a pizza from the oven and cut it is one of the funnier things I've seen. He may have had a couple...

Fun time, though. Now, I wait to see how many cuss words can be said in a 3 hour period, depending on how today's game goes...
