Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Good Morning from the Office (not LWB's - real office). :( Two project getting issued this week, both big ones, both mine.

The movie last night started after rain had cleared but the host set up the chairs inside the garage facing the screen which was outside in the driveway. I stayed in the house and talked to people I hadn't seen in a year or more.

Jr scored a break away goal yesterday and played the whole game on D. Most importantly he was much more aggressive and physical. Drew a roughing penalty from some kid who didn't like getting pinned in the corner by a smaller guy. Took a knee to the thigh late in the game and hobbled around all evening but seems better today.

Back to the rock pile.

Good for Jr!

Headed to my "office" today. Probably going to finish the mini-tour and get the free hoodie. Then relax and prep for hell week.

smelling pot inside my unit... can't tell where its coming from... I suspect either up or downstairs via the vents... unsure if it can permeate from my neighbors... I suspect it isn't them.

Why are they not sharing? My goal is to call in tomorrow. I am far from off track to call in. I cannot stand the anxiety attacks anymore.

Yay Jr!

And you know what, Lodge. Everyone should believe in something. I believe I'll have another beer.

Good evening Lodge.

Little g has a EEG test scheduled in cityslickerville on Tuesday as a follow up to a seizure he had earlier this month. Should be an interesting day as little g needs to be sleep deprived. Go to bed no earlier than 10:00 pm ( he is usually sleeping before 8:30 on week nights) and then we have to get up no later than 3:00 am. Our appointment is at 9:00. I. Can't. Wait.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Rotating schedules are the devil. The devil. Honestly, how are you supposed to live a somewhat normal life working that?
Yep.

Good evening Lodge.

Except for a nasty but quick thunderstorm it was a great day.

Tomorrow I will be making some chili as we have our annual chili cook off at work on Monday. About 10 or so people will bring chili and the best is voted on and the winner is given the "golden ladle". I have won it three of the last six years. The winner moves on to the United Way community chili cook off. I need to give my chili a Star Wars name because the United Way chili cook off theme is space age.

I'm not going to make my signature chili but mix it up a bit:. In no particular order............Hamburger, ground pork, garlic, onion, tomato sauce, beer, chili powder and other assorted spices, sugar, unsweetened cocoa, some hot sauce and some other stuff. No beans.

To this day my mother has to make a smaller batch of chili without beans because my brother refuses to eat beans. I still don't see why she ever started making it without the beans for him. Weirdo!!!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Thanks. I'm pretty sure everything will be ok. Just making sure. And if he is lucky he might even get an MRI on Wednesday...........

From what you've said and what's happened in the past, I'm sure this is just an insurance-to-make-sure sorta thing.

And despite the hell week I have in front of me, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Heading to an Autumn Brew Review (massive beer tasting festival, I guess) in Mpls with bbdl/PBS (and some GPLers will be there, too) on Saturday. Should be a fun time. I have never been to one of these before.
