HHT, at least the right team won the Eagan-Edina game.:D Eagan knew they had no shot to skate with Edina so they played like Stinkin' BADgers, very clogged neutral zone.

Morning, Lodge.

A co-worker in my wife's office gave her 2 tickets to the MN high school hockey consolation games today. Free hockey, woo! Got the same thing last year, and we had a fun time. There's almost nobody there, and it's general admission, so it's good for taking an antsy kid (like mine) who likes but doesn't love hockey. We move around a bunch, and can sit right on the glass, etc. Good times.

The whistles every five seconds were driving me nuts. I found myself cheering for Edina by the end of the game.

Thanks, I was kidding, but thanks anyway. Tell the Rat to cheer for the green team.

ETA: I was stunned at Jr's buddy's performance last night. Not that he got a goal and two assists but that he was pretty darn good in the post-game interview!

hey goofs fans...

i see y'all have regular season games next week. is there just a final 6 b1g format - 1 weekend tournament? 3-6 & 4-5 on thursday. 1-(4/5) 2-(3/6) friday, then final saturday?

Yep. With there being only six teams a first round series is pretty pointless.

So Edina won the State again. Jr's buddy has now been on 5 State title teams in a row - Peewee B1, Peewee A, Bantam A, Bantam AA (same as A just renamed) and now High School. I wonder how he'll react when he doesn't win a title?

HHT! Yes, it was UAH, but at least we're assured a spot in the playoffs. Now I wait to see if we're going to Fairbanks or not.
