Ah, ok. It was driving me nuts that I didn't fully know him off the bat. Seemed so familiar. Either way....it's terrible. Just terrible.

You may have met him at the State Fair livestock auction. He was the one we were watching hit on a girl from across the arena the whole time.

He was a pretty awesome guy. We realized today, going through pictures that we don't have a single one where he doesn't have a huge smile on his face.

That's the feeling I got from seeing/reading about him. I just don't have the words, man. I don't.

Not a good day. My cousin got in an accident last night and was killed instantly. Just a freak accident with nothing stupid going on like drinking and driving. Several lodge members had met him, and I think he probably left a bit of an impression. Spent all day at my aunt's house, everyone doing quite a bit of crying. Half the town came to visit. The local school is donating the use of the high school gym for the visitation, as there will literally be many hundreds of people there. The kicker, about 5 hours before his accident, his big sister gave birth to a baby boy, my aunt's first grandchild, my grandpa's first great-grandchild. She had to be woken up after giving birth to be told that her little brother will never meet his nephew.

Sometimes life really ****ing sucks.

Most sorry to hear that.

I'm so, so sorry, Dustin. I never met him, but from what everybody who knew him is saying, he sounded like a hell of a guy.

Thankful for this rainy and stormy Sunday today, along with a full slate of hockey games. I've been sick all weekend; sore throat, headache, chills off and on. Doc said it's a viral thing going around and I should turn the corner within a day or two, but if not time for antibiotics.

Airline tickets booked for Seattle - June 5-9th. Staying with and visiting an old friend who moved out there 5 years ago to work for Microsoft; should be good times.

Well, Minnehaha Creek by my place is creeping over the road I live on. Part of the road is starting to wash out, thanks to all this rain in the past 15 hours or so. The creek was up to the road on Fri, due to all the snow melting, etc. I figured it was just a matter of time before this happened.

BB, again, so sorry for your family's loss.:(

Our dock is under water right now and half of our neighbor's back yard. If it keeps raining all week as forecast, we may need an arc soon.

I'm currently sitting at Conor O'Neill's in Ann Arbor (is a whore!) waiting on my Guinness and food. I just came from a painting class (sTrumpet - we'll have a good time) and am just enjoying the time alone. No husband. No baby. Just me. I've needed this.

I don't see how uncontrolled electricity would help you in that situation...
