Good morning Lodge.

Breakfast has been served. Scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and coffee made via the wood stove. Juice available as well.

The agenda today involves cutting more firewood, ice fishing, scavenger hunt and we are expecting some friends to stop by later on. I can access Dish Network via the iPad so we might try to tune into the game tonight. Little g is a fan of MN hockey. I have failed as a father. ;)

gmann -- I think the Univ of Minn claims (nobly!) to be for all true Minnesotans, so you're a fan too, by default.

Morning, Lodge.

Sipper Saturday at bbdl's today, preferably ending in a celebration at the HHT. Kinda rainy right now, which stinks. The woman is disappointed she has to listen to the game on the radio (no cable, and is at her place w/kids). Gametime cannot get here soon enough.

I often wonder how the rest of you Minnesotans can live under the boot of oppression that is the University of Minnesota - specifically the Gopher hockey program.

Good morning Lodge.

Had a fun time sight-seeing yesterday and then went to Baltimore for the O's game. They lost on 2 errors by the 3rd baseman. :(
Caught up with an old high school friend and had an awesome day.

I know people differ on this, but I'm also in the "I will never root for my rival" camp as well. "But we want to keep the title in the West!" That's so weird. You expanded who "your" team is because "your" team is out of it. What happens next, if the Eastern team wins, do you just keep expanding? "Yeah! We kept the title in the USA!" :p

Those are the O's I remember from my season ticket days in the mid-90s. :( Could be worse! The Mets lost last night in extra innings by beaning a guy with the bases loaded. Don't see that every day!

I hate that. I root for my team. And my team only. If my team isn't in the game, I don't give two sh*s who wins, unless it affects my team (think: PWR or whatever). And all these new "Union fans" aka Gopher-haters...kiss my arse.
