Good morning Lodge.

Just finished up the first session of flag football with the boys. 83 degrees with dew point of 70. So hot and muggy I was making my own gravy. ;)

I almost broke my ankle rushing out the door on my way to Cossetta's. :D
And yes, it was fantastic. Not Mike's Pantries good but still pretty dam good. :)

Next time I'm in the Twin Cities, I'm going back to Cossetta's. Ravioli is excellent.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to bake some oatmeal-cranberry cookies. I might even fold some chocolate and walnuts into the dough.

Morning Lodge. Muggy here too, don't what Greyeagle is talking about with the glorious comment. Not bad but pretty darn muggy. And I was just out dragging sprinklers and hose around, no real work.

Mrs is making spaghetti sauce out of our bumper crop of tomatoes and peppers. She made salsa the other day with the jalapenos and tomatoes. She has canned a bunch of tomatoes and salsa and she will freeze the spaghetti sauce as she is out of canning jars and shelf room to store them. The house is redolent of fresh garlic (from farmers market) and basil (from our garden).

Bob, you should add some raisins to be sure gmann doesn't swipe any, although I think the oatmeal will be enough to keep him away. And if Greyagle doesn't like the nuts, that leaves more for the rest of us!

At 8:30, on my front porch, is was wonderful. Not so much now.

Heading to the STA-Joliet Catholic HS football game this afternoon - my Goddaughter plays in the Visitation-STA band. Hope that annoying Rudy is not there! :D

Mid 90s + sun + south facing aluminum bleachers = like sitting in a solar farm.
