Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

And last week you got up at 3:30 AM to make coffee, seems like a pattern to me, ya snot nosed punk. :p
That was more me waking up, taking a pee, and feeling like it was time to be up for the day.. Today wasn't a matter of reading a clock, it was the fact that I just didn't want to get up right away..

I did get a coffee a bit ago though, so all is well.:p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

someone with enough clout to get something done finally stepped up and made something happen. Customer is happy now, but now it is time to sit back and watch the inevitible fireworks between groups, because someone actually made a decision and did something to fix a problem.
how dare they!?!?!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

Had a funny hockey conversation with my buddy today. The Super Rink team I used play on, had to quit because of work and injury, lost 12-4 a week ago to a team stacked with ringers. He researched the guy that scored seven goals against him (my buddy's the goalie), and he used to play high school varsity (that actually means something in MN), until he went down with injury about seven years ago. Last year the guy played in the Super Rink's B league, putting up 13 points in 12 games, and this year he's in D league. Super Rink D league, like most every other D league, is beer league, while Super Rink B league is usually the talent level of really good former D-3 and average D-1 players. This year the guy is playing beer league. This is one of those irritations that makes me glad I'm not playing in that league anymore.

The whole conversation came up because my buddy was saying that he tied 4-4 with another team that had a couple ringers on it last night. The only reason they did so well is that the other team had a deep bench, which is a boon to my team because that means the ringers have less ice time.

Thanks RFAlph. Celebrating by having the XC team to Spaghetti dinner- all 36 of them

Happy birthday super mom!!

Well, finishing a few things up and I'm gonna be on cruise control until Thursday, when I make my annual trip to Madison to visit three of my best friends. I'm going to try and convince them to catch the NMU/UW game Friday with me. I played with one of the BADgers.'

It's always good to know that the BADgers have a weak spot.

His game improved exponentially in the two years I played with him, and he grew about six inches in that time as well. He didn't look very good last year, but he was still a freshman. It'll be interesting to see how much he's improved. (Eddie Wittchow)

People generally take time to adjust to their "new" bodies after a growth spurt. Six inches is a lot of adjustment.
