Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

Even though it's supposed to be like this all through the week and into the weekend, still can't wait to get to the Fair on Sunday. The weather increases the chance for more food comas, but it'll be worth it.

1,704.8 miles to go to match last year's total.
Do you ride every day? If so, that's not a particularly long distance. Unless you're dodging tourists, then you could think of it like an obstacle course, and earning extra points for going untouched during a ride.

About three times a week. I should make it.

I give myself extra points for hitting tourists. :D

Too much incentive, my rides would only be about 3 miles long, and they'd go through the National Mall or something every time.

When I was in elementary school, I'd ride my bike during the beginning of the school year and towards the end, basically when there wasn't snow on the ground. One time I was riding my bike home I nailed this girl in my class right in the back of the head with my handlebar, zooming down this short yet steep hill just outside school grounds. Come to think of it, I think I know why she didn't like me much during our school years. That's too bad, she turned out to be pretty good looking. Any rate, I had to go through the whole acts of contrition because one of the school patrols was there, and then as I went on my way with my buddies it was high fives all around.

Hard to believe you're single. ;)

Just got home from dropping the lad at MSP....wheels up in one hour for him. What a great opportunity for him.
