Jackie had a big hug for the Mr also
They don't have as much to say as they could because Jackie retired. Not having ESPN/ESPNU is a bit of a bother for me... would like to see what they have to say about us, etc.
ESPN3.com maybe?Not having ESPN/ESPNU is a bit of a bother for me...

Sorry Scarlet, but the Lady Gophers just went 41-0 for their second consecutive Natty. 6-3 over the Lady Terriers.
Proposed experiment:
Could the Gopher women's team beat the UAA men's team?
It's gonna depend where I'd end up going. If it's Toledo or Grand Rapids, doable. If its the other two. Flying would be smarter.
There's also staying and watching all of the tourney games on TV here and doing that for cheaper. Who knows.
The US women's Olympic team plays in an adult league on the north side of the Twin Cities, the A division, which is made up of retired pros and former D-1 college players long past their primes. They're a 0.500 team most sessions, sometimes a little better and sometimes a lot worse, and this is against teams of guys who probably don't practice anymore. It's a no-check, no slap shot league, which should play to their strengths. If that's supposed to be the best women's team in the world, and add to what MH14 said about them losing to Warroad, you can extrapolate how the Gopher women would do against an active and practicing men's D-1 team.Proposed experiment:

Someone in the UW thread just claimed that the UW season will not be a success unless the badgers win a game in the NCAA tournament because they had to win the autobid to get in.
Grand Rapids? I might be able to work that in this year...It's gonna depend where I'd end up going. If it's Toledo or Grand Rapids, doable. If its the other two. Flying would be smarter.
