Idea being bandied about... Bringing an air matress so that we can have 3 or 4 in a downtown room

Any thoughts?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #164: Weekend Plans

Good morning Lodge. Happy Monday. My boss is in Germany - World Cup stuff. Her boss is in Sochi, Russia - Olympic stuff. Another co-worker/teammate - Florida for vacation. Me? Here are my desk. I'm going to hopefully get some work done this week. And bolt a little early so I can go do the food shopping I was not able to do yesterday. :)

Long range forecast for Pittsburgh only went to Tuesday of next week. Hopefully will have a better idea later in the week of what to pack. We're staying in the hotel that is next door to - and may even be connected to - the Consol. Which is great because I don't want to lug a jacket to the games. And yes, I plan to go to the games. Four new teams, not one of which I don't want to see win. Should be fun. It's like St. Paul in 2011 all over again!

Morning, Lodge-O!

Morning tLodge. I have no good jokes this morning. Carry on.

What did the buffalo say when he dropped his boy off at school?

Bi-son.

I think I need to start a new thread in D1.

'Tis the season. It'll all quiet down in two weeks.

I think mookie may have planned just such an event. Though not the exact scenario you're imagining. :p

In our flophouse scenario this is where we (Monty, Gary, etc) will stay

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #164: Weekend Plans

You know what's missing from this year's tournament? Hate. With all new schools, thre isn't any built up hostility or rivalry or stuff like that. There isn't anyone I don't want to see win. Does that make sense? It's almost as if all college hockey fans are excited for fans of all the four schools because it's all so new. And fans of the four schools are kind of banding together because they're all in the same boat. We have 10 days. I look forward to the first shot across the bow. We need some fun discussion.

Never heard of the Quinnipiac-Yale rivalry, eh?
