Patman, I hope that you were not the UML fan who gave me the unsigned negative rep.

Uh, no... Even when I want to be terse sometimes I still go green to show the person I'm not against them.

Edit: mom is willing to give a one way trip to Manchester on Friday... Is that like a message or something

Do any of you Minneapolis folks listen to ESPN Radio out there? If so, is Justin Maiser an on air personality? He used to play for BU. He just followed me on Twitter, or rather the Friends of Hockey Twitter account, and he has ESPN Radio in Minneapolis in his profile.

Nope. Never heard of him. Of course, I don't listen to the evil 4-letter network radio station, I listen to KFAN.

I don't think he is "on-air talent". Might produce or intern or something. Can't find a listing of all their staff on their website.

How the blue fark does St. Cloud manage to win the MacNaughton and only land a 13 seed, let alone with four WCHA teams seeded ahead of them?

Did the losses to NMU and UAA torpedo their RPI that hard?

I am currently in St. Cloud for some training. I can see why. It's very obvious. ;)

Dude, don't be such a n00b. You're an Extra - look at the right side of the rep box - it tells you who sent it.

Need some help Lodge. A friend of mine is in DC with some high school students. With little notice he has a day trip to Philly tomorrow. Any of you have ideas of some neat sights and places to visit? No ideas that involve urban dictionary please. :)

Freedom Hall? It has some bell or something in it. Philadelphia Museum of Art - it's where Rocky ran up the steps in the original movie.

South Street for a cheese steak wit. (and you have to say it that way)

That's what I said. Plus, to get a taste of the friendly locals I told him to have his students walk around holding signs that say "Philly sports sux!"

Perfect. You da man!

Edit. No idea why but I thought for sure a Google search would involve Asians and with the right currency some happy endings. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #164: Weekend Plans

The NCAA tournament is the same every year. (well, for the most part, with exception of the years it shifted to avoid being the same weekend as obamaball) Its the church that keeps moving the holiday around.
Last yr this past weekend was the regionals.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #164: Weekend Plans

I don't know what it is about this year...Labor Day being so early maybe?

Every year MSU's spring break usually is the same as the Boys' High School State Hockey Tournament. This year, the Tournament was the last week we had school, and the following week, which is normally Final Five weekend, was my spring break and WCHA first round playoffs.

EDIT: Hence the Frozen Four and regionals being later as well.
