who is going to pittsburgh?

if so, who is staying at the marriott across the street?

I hope so, and if they have space and gov't rate then that's where I'll stay :)

Lot more hockey left.

Morning tLodge. The Mrs. and I are looking for a new coop to hang our slippers and we found something yesterday that we fell in love with. Only problem is, we have to sell our house first before we can buy and the home owner wouldn't accept an offer contingent to sell ours (it is on the market though). Oh well. Continuing on the house hunt...

Lil is watching the walking dead. It is 20 past and right on schedule they have a run in with the creepy things and have to kill them with the required gore. A little originality would help. Every episode at 20 past and 20 of they do this.
That is a great show. It actually has a storyline/plot and some real characters with depth, it isn't all gore.

I like commenting on CNN stories because it's just funny to see the crap people believe. At any rate, this was on a story about Vince Neil getting kidney stones and leaving a show early. One of them's been taking lessons from Hammer on how to respond to bad images. :D

See? I'm not the only one. :D

And it's his own **** fault for googling "lemon party".

I replied to him, saying that I hope he searched for it on his company computer. :)

I got an email from Frank Wilson. I hadn't head for him since September. I guess that my luck has changed again. :(

Does your email provider allow you to mark his email address as spam or block some other way? I forget exactly what the situation is that led him to believe you're a source of info on various RPI things, but if he's not smart enough to figure out that you're not who he thinks you are, then he won't figure out how to get around a simple sender block.

Just got of back to back meetings and now I need to motor through a few things as I am going to Coach Parker's press conference.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #163: Irish Eyes Smile

Morning, Lodge-O. Time for the weekend catch-up:

Actually, my check is filled out with everything but the total before I even enter the store. :p

BAM! That's what I'm talking about. Be prepared, that's all I ask of my fellow citizens.

I'm kicking myself for breaking my New Year's resolution and went over the DI. Why? Why did I do that?? Why?? *big sigh*
I'm kinda at a loss for words.
walrus - I remember the email you sent me last season about what Coach Parker did for one of your fans and don't know if I ever told you how much that meant to me. That's the person I know and I'm glad you got to see that.

No worries, luv. :)

When I was a younger lad (cue the violin!) I would've gotten riled up, gotten into a back-and-forth, etc. Now I realize people's posts speak for themselves. I feel no need to get into a back-and-forth. If people want to be stupid they can be my guest.

I have tickets but haven't decided if I'm going yet.

If you don't want them, I'll take them off your hands. Free of charge! :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #163: Irish Eyes Smile

one of y'all must be friends with timp and keep rep'ing him. i have been hitting him with red chicklets hard and he is still dark green  . . . and i thought my red power was powerful!!
He's red now. I didn't turn him, but did help solidify his red for now.

I just did my share as well. The red was already there, but it still felt good -- like a GoodFellas kick to the ribs when the guy's already down on the ground! :D

edit: You like bein' a troll? KICK! Huh? You like bein' a troll? KICK! How's that feel, troll? KICK! :D

(2nd edit: I suppose for the sake of liability I should point out that this is a complete over-analogy, and that I am aware we are on an anonymous forum, and that I in no way condone nor advocate beating anyone up for anything said on here.)

That's a wonderful offer, but I couldn't possibly let you take them without paying you for the honor. Just email me your bank information and you will be in for a big surprise!

"Like him or not, today is not a day to bash Jack, but congratulate him and thank him on his college hockey career. Many of us in New England who grew up playing the sport benefited from his dedication and success at BU. Having been coached by one of his accomplished protege's, my character has been indirectly shaped by Jack Parker and BU Hockey. For that, I thank him and hope he has many well-deserved relaxing days ahead of him."
