74, feels like 74 with windchill down here in Tampa. ;)

Went out to a pretty awesome event last night at a beach bar right on Tampa Bay. 4 hour open bar, champagne, finger foods. Only a little hungover this morning, surprised I'm not a zombie.

My only New Years resolution is to hit 10,000 posts. ;)

Technically, I am over 10,000 posts. I initially created my account when USCHO was just out if the box. Back in 97 or 98 or something like that. I had several thousand posts but something happened in which I had to re create my name and start all over in 2001 or so.

I just finished up talking to my dad via FaceTime. He is in Hilton Head. 58 degrees. He was out on his deck as he was talking to me. About twenty feet behind him was a five foot long alligator. F that. I will take below zero over creepy crawly shiat like alligators and snakes and especially spiders.

Good afternoon Lodge and Happy New Year to you all! Was up at 8:45 and went down to the workout room and walked for 45 minutes. Had breakfast, now having some fruit. Just took the tree down and brought all the Christmas stuff down to my storage unit. It's almost like it never happened.

My mom just called to tell me I won the dime in the New Year's Vasilopeta!! Woo! That's supposed to mean good luck for 2013! Go me!

Happy New Years everybody!!! And the word from the farm is that we had a new years baby out in the barn. A little filly Mom said. Will have to go take pictures of it later when I get back home.

We do that in the spring in our fire pit when the tree is really dry and the needles are orange. One hell of a hot flame! Quick but hot and crackly.

I was inspired by gmann- that's scary ain't it? Not the skirt or panties but crepes. Made gluten free crepes with bacon, Cheddar and eggs. Nummy.

Now to go work on the rink. Need to patch some cracks.
