Morning, been a tough night playing Xbox on the boat since we are sitting around.

Pierre McGuire is in Canton NY running/assisting with the SLU practice today.

Morning tLodge! Happy Post Halloween! The Mrs. and I were mice while the mini slippers was an elephant. Cutest little elephant you ever saw!

S'upp y'all

I'll tell you whats up mookie, you are a cucumber. That's right, a cucumber. At least according to the Mini-Slippers. We ask her to say cucumber and she says "mookie". So from now one, you are cucumber to me and the entire Slippers family!

Good Morning Lodge.

So it appears that sometimes when I post from my phone it double posts what I type. Not sure why or how, but my phone was acting up yesterday ever since I had tried to download a free e-book on it (the book was the wrong format). I eventually shut my phone off and rebooted.

We only had 7 trick-or-treaters last night. Living on a dead end with kids in only 3 houses on the street will do that. My wife bought two bags of candy, now we have to figure out what to do with all the left-overs.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #157: Hockey Watching Habits

I could, except his wife is the kind that would hold it against a person for a very long time... Which means my buddy would hold it against me for a very long time.
Tell them to plan something that is a little less boring and then maybe it would be worth your time. Or just tell them that you already have plans with some friends to go to a Gopher hockey viewing party....if they don't understand that you're going to watch hockey, then they probably aren't that good of friends anyway.

I think the stars and strips speedo is going to be a little more snug in a bit.

Are you drunk?

Brent: Yesterday while mulching leaves I had a great idea for what you SHOULD have been for Halloween this year. Too little, too late, I'm afraid.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #157: Hockey Watching Habits

What's the most polite way to decline a birthday invitation from a friend (really his wife) to her birthday party this weekend where they want to do a murder mystery that I have zero interest in participating?

Yikes. You poor bastage.

Lie {cough-cough-sneeze-cough}. Then don't get caught on FSN North during the game.
Say that you'll be there, but then you get sick on Saturday all of a sudden. That **** 24-hour flu that's going around...

Yeah, now that they mention it, you look terrible. Better not take any chances.

The mookcumber. I like it!

Either you bring it into the office or let T take it to school for purchasing school favors.

He must be.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #157: Hockey Watching Habits

Good morning Lodge. Greetings from Logan Airport. My flight to MSP isn't till 11:30 but when I checked the Massport site to make sure my flight was on schedule, they had an alert that said there will be tons of people, security lines very long, get here two hours before your flight!! So I did and the security line was the shortest I've ever seen it. Yay! No kids to be seen in the gate area but it's still early. No plane yet so I'm a teeny bit worried but it is still early. My connection at MSP is about an hour.

ETA: Spoke too soon. Crying baby at the gate. I'm sure they're sitting right next to, in front of or behind me. Still no plane.....

You are going to Mankato for the game.

Then actually go to Mankato for the game. Methinks I am heading there.

Ill be there:)

Also, for you gopher folk, I have suite tickets for Friday's game. Any word on the experience, more importantly, the viewing aspect from there?

Depends on which suite. The Gold club is OK but on the end. Some others are right on the red line. The arena is steep enough that none are too far from the rink.

What the hell, MSP???? No chocolate ice cream at the Dairy Queen!!!!!!! Not what I wanted to hear after walking about 6 miles thru this airport to find it.

"Triple" (at least that's what we called it when I worked at DQ in HS) machines are very expensive relative to single flavor machines.
