Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

I know, depending on what the dentist says on Thursday, I may just have to have it extracted and deal with getting either a bridge or implant when I have a job (and insurance)
And by extracted, you mean slamming half a liter of Jack, and having a buddy go at it with a Vise-Grip?

Just get them all pulled. That way if you ever decide to support sccc you will meet one of the requirements for being a fan of said team. :p;):D

Just don't tell them that they were pulled, I think one of the un-official rules is that at least 4 fall out due to either excessive use of Skoal, or from smoking a methpipe.

He's a BADger fan and went to Iowa for grad school, it's not like gap-toothed is a new look to him...

On the Twitter subject...Samuel L Jackson (@SamuelLJackson). His Olympic commentary is hilarious.

Here's a brilliant idea. Watch Alfred Hitchcock right before bed.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

I spent more time than I would like admit on Twitter today. Followed some of the suggestions from the Lodge. I get it but at the same time I don't get it. I will continue to check things out and maybe it will grow on me. Stupid question. So if I begin to tweet, how does one become a follower of me? Or how does someone even know I exist aside from me telling them my name?

Social media. I know it's here to stay but I have not bought into it yet. Too many options/information overload.

Facebook. I found it interesting initially to catch up to people from my past and occasionally drop in on good friends but once the novelty wore off it's now kinda blah. Maybe I shouldn't friend every Tom, Dick and Harry. :)

The Tweeter Machine: it's like a virus for followers. Someone who knows your handle and enjoys your twatters will tell someone else to follow you, etc. I hate The Tweeter Machine itself, but love to read the stuff of people that I follow. I'm on there, but mainly stay "in character" as TheMayanElders. :D

Facebook to me is just email on steroids. And a place to host pics from various trips I take.
