S'upp y'all

Was kind of laughing at a couple of coworkers of mine, all freaking out over a family of Raccoons camped out in our dumpster tonight. had to been about 7 of them, good sized kids in the litter I'm guessing. Oh to only have a metal pitch fork and a couple of other people handy with shovels. Anyways, not that they're their for our trash, but from the stuff from the little coffee and sandwich place out in front trash, Moonwinks. we share the dumpster. Clearly I work with some ninnies.

I came home last night to see everyone in my yard staring at a baby something squirming in the grass. I looked around and didn't see a p-o'ed mother, so took a shovel and flipped the young'un 35ft over my fence off the back neighbors garage. Adieu whatever. :)

Good Morning Lodge.

and I love Goldy being godly.
I just assumed that Mavsy can't type any better than I do with my phone.

The ECC will be nice, I'm sure, but not as nice as it was several years ago. They've lost a lot of tress to storms in the last decade and it's a lot more open than it used to be. I'm curious what the greens are like as they were all rebuilt a few years back. I've been in the clubhouse but not on the course (same with Interlachen, Rochester CC, and Golden Valley CC).

Good Morning, Lodge!

Lots to do between today and tomorrow. I have an artist's fair this weekend in St. Paul, so I am getting everything packed up and in-progress works finished.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

Drive by from OK City....dam are OK & KS hot. At strong wind and they are glorified convection ovens. Plus they talk even funnier down here than New Englanders do. :D
Heading to AR today, we will be the ones with all our teeth. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

Glad the weather will be nice for my visit to the TC this weekend. Too bad I really won't have time to do anything.

I've had that happen a few times - each time it was food poisoning and resulted in barfing within minutes of that awfulness starting.
No hurling thankfully. There is about a million things that have stomach pain as a symptom, so without a doctor visit I won't know the cause.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

Eh, it was my first time having them. In the right setting (I would think outdoors/summer day) it would be a great idea. Tonight? Would have preferred a regular beer. Maybe I just wasn't quite in the mood for them, maybe I just wasn't in a drinking mood, but I was kind of underwhelmed from the hype you guys gave it, TBH.
They need to be consumed when it is hot, and poured over ice. They don't taste nearly as good straight from the can.

There are many courses that would disagree...Whistling Straights, Bandon Dunes, Chambers Bay...Ok, maybe those are little higher end than Edina Country Club. :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

Sitting here trying to do my German homework. We're supposed to pick one of the 50 videos here http://www.interviewproject.de/videos, and report on what they are saying. It's an exercise in using Subjunctive-I which is used for indirect quoting. A rather odd collection of people. Thankfully one can turn on subtitles since a lot of the regional accents are quite thick.

trees destroy golf courses! yuck!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

I'm not a golfer but the ECC members I know were dismayed at losing a lot of old trees on the course. I'm sure it would make the course easier for a hack like me though.

while they do sometimes get in the way of mookie's ball ;). they suck water out of the ground that grass needs. they steal sun that the grass would also like to have every once in a while... donald ross put it best, 'trees should be part of the scenery, but not on the stage'.

Random thought. Those sticky threads at the top of the board for HOF and Open Positions? Maybe we threadjack those, run them up to 1,000, and get them closed. They haven't been used, and the HOF stuff has already been purged.

Nominate Bear Red's stupidity. :D

I think I just got a spam...text message?

"Helloo frequent flyer, you just got picked 2 Southwest free airline tickets claim at http://y.ahoo.it/mNpUh"

I would guess: Follow that link at your own risk

You'd think that they'd try to use some decent grammar or maybe learn how to spell "Hello". My Parise, people are stupid.
