A few weeks ago I took the boys to Taco Bell. Never been there before that. Their AC was down and their CO2 was down. The two options for beverages was milk or water. Quite a miserable experience and I will probably never give them another penny of my money.

I've not been able to call them back, I got their messages shortly before getting onto the conference I'm on right now.

Brent and MNS won't tag middling slutty chicks. Their standards simply do not match up with their reality when it comes to women. If you won't date or bang 5's and 6's, you're going to be spending a lot of time not dating and not ****ing.

Has MNS even been on a date?

I wanna borrow your bus when I get a minute. This is going to require more than a hardware store full of shovels. The last time I was this ****ed off about the office, I wrecked my truck on black ice.

Well, my climate controlled office on the boat (the wheelhouse) is now naturally aspirated. In Houston. In July. Yep, a 95 degree pressure cooker.

Supposed to be getting the AC fixed tomorrow, but I'm hopefully off of this thing between 6-7am, as I have a 1030 flight outta here through Cleveland and back to NY. Gotta get home owners insurance lined up tomorrow too, then I think I'm just wait and see until closing.

Ugh. That's not the best timing. When it was 100-105 here last week, we were outside the ice arena, making sure the kids got onto the buses with all their stuff. Even the wind felt hot and it wasn't refreshing at all at that temperature.

LwB-so sorry for your loss. :(

Just got back from dinner. Gorgeous day here in Chicago. Meeting ended a little after 2pm and then walked around the city, got an ice cream, almost bought a few things then realized I had no room to bring anything in my carry on. My flight tomorrow is at 7:45am so I need to leave here no later than 6am. Ugh.

On a more piddling level of problems: Both my kids are away at camp this week; and tonight is my wife's book group, which is at someone else's house; and so I'm happily by myself, in a quiet house, with a tall, tall gin and tonic beside me . . . AND THERE'S NO FREAKING BASEBALL ON TONIGHT. The one night of the year I can chill, and it's the All Star Break.

Grumble. Maybe "Snatch" or "Children of Men" of "The Matrix" or something is on. :mad:

If my boss could run his ****ing business and actually get the lead out of his *** and get some overdue tax returns done, instead of sitting around pointing out everyone else's perceived ****-ups, maybe this place could be a little more tolerable. There's 2 of us in the office. Exactly jack squat got done last week while I was gone. If I walk out the door, he might as well close the doors because he's done. And I sure as hell don't want the place. This place is the main source of my frustrations in general. I'm not the easiest person to work with, but JFC I could lecture at Harvard on how not to get things done after watching this guy.

I'll put up with a lot of ****. But when I get good and ****ed, I explode. On a scale of 1-10, I'm at about 9.2, and I've been home 3 1/2 hours.
