Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

For those of you who need a break from the Monday grind........... Currently 86 degrees and there is a slight breeze at the lake. I am sitting on the beach with a ice cold beverage in hand (Blue Moon with a orange slice). Prime rib is slow cooking on the grill and the neighbor lady is making the g family apple crisp for dessert. The boys are picking raspberries and they will experience their first treat of raspberries, cream and sugar in a bit.

Now get back to the grind............. :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

Son of a *ing *, someone hit my gf's car in the last few days. To add insult to injury, someone (else?) also egged the thing.:mad::mad:

Gmann, that sounds awesome. I'd love to be up at the lake now :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

Just an FYI, those new fancy Taco Bell burrito/burrito bols they've been advertising heavily over the past couple weeks completely lack taste - very bland. Yuck.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

I just might stop and pick up a 12er of Lime-A-Ritas on my way home from work, and sit on the deck, in my new patio furniture and read the new book I bought last night. All the while trying to take advantage of the last bit of sun to deepen my tan a bit.

Also, to those lodgers that were at the shindig Friday night, do you think we should stock up on Lime-A-Ritas for the events that we wanted to bring them to? What if its just a summer thing, so when the Gopher-Tech trip comes around it isn't for sale anymore? That would be a disaster.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

Having ten days off only made it more obvious how much my job sucks. I hate hate hate it. Hate it.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

Heading home from Houston Thurs, and tentatively closing on my house the 25th before I come back to work the next day. *fingers toes eyes and ears crossed*

This article was in our local paper today: Minnesota deer hunters take it to another level

St. Louis County officials are seeing deer stands — platforms perched in trees to help hunters more easily spot deer — with stairways, decks, shingled roofs, commercial windows, insulation, propane heaters, carpeting, lounge chairs, tables and even the occasional generator, the Duluth News Tribune reported Sunday.

According to this article:

St. Louis Post-Dispatch said:
A-B launched the concoction in April, one in a salvo of new brews designed to appeal to sweeter palates that have turned away from traditional lagers. While it was originally geared to be a summer seasonal, A-B decided to make it year-round. And, so far, that looks like a wise move.

So, we ought to be good. :D

Best of luck with the closing!

Yes, I've been invited to be her +1. But I'm curious about the details you learned this weekend...I really don't know what you're talking about.

edit: and wait, how do you know what I'm talking about?
edit2: and actually, lets keep this off the boards

The only thing that you'll like is that it's open bar. the part that works for me is my cousin and her fiance have numerous single friends of the female type.

Found out the guys I am working with this week are college hockey fans, i think we'll get along ok

Ok, that is sweet. Open bars are always good. I've never been down that way, so I'm looking forward to it already. You don't plan on having a date to bring by then? :p
I guess this topic was more mild than I thought...I was thinking that you thought you found out some dirt on us over here...and then I was trying to figure out what it could be, since there really isn't anything too interesting going on. :p
