Going to Lafayette, IN for a wedding in July. Three of us traveling, Southwest air fares would total about $1400 plus a car rental of about $200. Versus drive ~10 hours each way for a total of less than $200 for gas (and maybe add one night in a motel on the way down say another $100). Not sure I want to drive 10 hours each way (or even half of that splitting with Mrs. goldy). Hmmmm

I know the feeling. That's a lot of driving.

Spend the $1600 to fly and rent a car. Send the kid to public school for 1 quarter to make up the funds. :D

Her fever won't break and now she has a rash on her arm. Poor thing. :( Has an apt later. I hate it when the little ones aren't feeling good.
