gentleman with whom i made an inquiry emailed me that he was informed today they are opening friday at noon (yesterday he thought next weekend).

Yep, weather has been rediculusly nice. Hell, we're likely to be doing hay by the first of May if this weather holds like this. kind of sucks for me right now as most everybody has been out and enjoying the weather. Hopefully they all overdo it soon and find themselves needing a massage.

Think some of the golf courses around here have already been open. One of my regulars is the course manager for a course over in Ypsi, and he's been scrambling to get it all set up, and expressing homicidal feelings towards geese.

Confirmed by another member tonight.

Monster, there are plenty of course open around here. The issue is will a really terrific high end country club be open? The munis have been open for a while, CCs, not so much, they don't like to pee off members by risking damage to greens in particular.

I didn't ask, just if the course was going to open Friday and he confirmed it. He was probably afraid if he said any more I'd beg him to play (I wouldn't, but he doesn't know that). I did say that I heard from a Boston guy who was coming out for the Regional games and he planned to play, then we got interrupted by others in the room. Hockey banquet night for our boys.
