Morning

I was expecting Snowmageddon. But it looks like it will only be a few inches. :(

Today: 1 inch - snow/sleet
Tonight: 1-3 inch - snow/sleet
Tomorrow: 2-4 inches - snow

So, maybe 8 inches at the most? Plus it will be above freezing part of the time. *yawn* boring.

ETA: Aw crap. For jr's playoff pool, the other two teams are the other two Edina teams. :mad: As the 1 seed they play the 8 and 12 seeds who are Edina Green and Edina White. :( Late push by one other team got them ahead of Edina White.

Maybe I'll decide to come to work tomorrow, if the snow isn't going to be as horrible as they originally claimed (big surprise :rolleyes:)

Days like today, I miss my truck. It took snow like a champ. And, if it didn't, it was big enough where I would cause far more damage to whatever/whoever I hit than would be inflicted on me. The Focus? Notsomuch.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great little car 95% of the time. And, I am more than capable of driving in snowy conditions. I just don't trust a)the city of Duluth's policy of "we'll plow when it stops snowing", b) the moron drivers in this town, or c) the even more moronic drivers who come over from the other side of the Bong and Blatnik bridges (JFC, Wisconsin drivers take the cake for shyttactular ability to functionally maneuver a vehicle). In my truck--I was OK because the other cars would pretty much just bounce off me. (I watched this happen, quite literally.) Now? I'm in a little yellow ping pong ball waiting to be destroyed by some moron who can't understand that you can't go 20 over, slam your brakes, and expect to stop on a dime on 5 inches of unplowed, wet snow.

Eh, that's basically my lunch, and I eat it around that time every night at work.

JF, the latest indications are the metro will get mayyyybe 4" tops (core cities). Northern 'burbs might see up to 6", southern metro will be lucky to see more than 2". We'll get mostly rain/sleet.

Little gII is in the OR.

Hopefully the nasty weather holds off for a bit. I haven't checked lately but I am guessing we will be getting some nasty blizzard like conditions sooner or later.

You aren't north of St. Cloud, so I'm thinking not. Half a foot, tops. Probably less.

There's also indications that next week may see some 50+ degree highs with an outside chance at 60 by the weekend. :eek:
