Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 144: (Lack of) Winter Wonderland

Holy Shhit, that was an awesome concert last night. The place was packed, not an empty seat anywhere. Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean did an acoustic duet of Much Too Young to Feel This **** Old, and it was extremely well done. Even the ****ty Lauren Alaina pulled off the Kelly Clarkson part of Don't You Wanna Stay. I wish I wasn't the DD for the night, but oh well, it was still tons of fun. Also....holy hell, the girls a Luke Bryan/Jason Aldean concert brings in.

BSU was outplayed in every category last night. Hopefully BSU is ready to play tonight.

I am still planning on campus pizza pre game.

With all the complications, we just decided to not pay for parking just to pre-game. So, we'll be watching the HerpesU-Ugly Helmets game and pre-game here with some scotch, and then are heading to TK's for some pulled pork nachos and SENANICANS.

Is ctf still complaining? When I had my wisdom teeth out, I got home from surgery at about noon, had an ibuprofen that night because thats what the dentist told me to do. Woke up the next morning with no pain whatsoever, so I didn't take anymore pain killers. It was painless, and I had no painkillers after the day of the procedure.

Never ever mix OTC or prescription meds with booze. You put yourself at serious risk by doing that and are lucky you didn't end up in the hospital or dead.

I'm aware. It was actually accidental, but I took a Vike around 8, forgot, and started drinking at 10. Didn't screw me up terribly, I just didn't feel great.

I would like to add, gmann, you're definitely welcome to stop by TK's after the game with the wife. It is a pretty good time, and the band tonight is quite good, and not exclusively country music.

I woke up with 100x more pain today than I had yesterday, and I'm already swelling something awful.

Good morning Lodge. Just booked my flight to Tampa for the Frozen Four. Flying out of Manchester, NH instead of Boston. Flight was way cheaper. I'm hoping my parents can drive me there and pick me up, but parking at that airport is cheaper that if I had to drive and leave my car there, the total cost of the trip would still be less than if I booked a flight out of Logan. I really didn't want to deplete all my frequent flier miles for a crazy flight schedule. My biggest fear now is that April is when we're going to get hit with snow and the drive to New Hampshire will be a mess. That would be typical.

Going to run into town today. My niece/goddaughter turns 18 on Tuesday and the family party is tomorrow. I'm going to get her Bruins tickets. Well, a ticket. I get the other one. :) She's a big Bruins fan. I figure we can do the game, then maybe dinner in the North End or somewhere else in the city. BU has its final regular season that night at Northeastern. I'll ask her if she wants to go to that as well. She really likes going to BU games (though she's 0-2 this season - may have to think about extending that offer).

les - do you ever follow Lowell on the road? The one thing I don't like about TV games is they start late and end later. TV timeouts are such a drag. And a momentum killer. You know, we really need to meet up at a game at some point. I was there last night.

Afternoon Lodge

Craft fair today.
Are you going to make Jack again?

gmann, Gonzo, anyone else there tonight - meet at the Olympic/Herbie display behind section 5 between 1st and 2nd periods? I looked for GE last night but never saw him. We might try to go to Campus Pizza before game. The commendation I heard is to get there 1.75 hours before game time.

And I could see the following happening around June 23 somewhere in MI. Possibly. Maybe.
