Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 141: We Didn't Start The (* Hockey Table On) Fire
It's not that bad, although it was due to the goalies (I was one of them) that we only played 90 minutes. We planned on 3 hours.*![Eek! ](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f631.png)
*A bunch of us always played boot from 6-9 every Fri/Sat night, from HS to our mid-20's. One of my buddies worked the best (as in quality) warming houses/rinks in New Hope MN (had boards, chainlink for the end "netting" and everything), and he basically made the rule that it was boot hockey on those two nights, period. A couple years ago, we wanted to play one of those classic sessions before the Super Bowl. Temp was -20, real temp, prob -25 to -30 windchill. Too bad. This was set in stone.![Smile :) :)](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png)
Yeah, how does a goalie not turn to ice, just sitting there all night? Poor bastids.
