Well, the more thought I've put into it, the more shopping I've done online as well. Now I just need to get a a few things and I'm good to go.

Afternoon all! Haven't checked in for a while, so I'm not going to read back the 12 pages I've missed.

Yesterday was pretty interesting for me at work. I went in early for some training, and during that, they got a call for a chair massage over at Willow Run Airport. The Women in Aviation was having a meeting/Christmas party over at the Yankee Air museum and they normally have a chair massage for it, but their normal MT called in sick with the flu, and they needed somebody else ASAP. Anyways, I only had one massage on the books right at three, so they offered me the gig. Didn't think I would pick up anything else after the 3, so that would give me plenty of time to get over there and set up starting at 6. Little did I know that they booked me for 4:15 as well. Anyways, they had me grab the chair and the swag bags and pretty much run out the door after I finished up with that client, and hauled *** across town as fast as the **** rubber neckers on US-23 would let me!! Was a bit late, but set up to go at 6:15pm. Made out pretty good with it as well.

Yawn, I do need to run over to the courthouse sometime soon here as well. Tremaine has a show over in Windsor that she wants to go to next month and I either need to get an enhanced driver's licence or a new passport. I had one last year for when we did NYE over there, but that one expired later in the month.

The enhanced license is ok, but I'd probably go with a passport. It's a lot more versatile - it works if you ever want to vacation in Mexico or the Caribbean or fly to Canada, unlike the EDL, and you can use it for primary identification for jobs and such (not sure if the EDL does that too.) Just takes a bit more time to process and a bit more money.

I have thought about getting the passport, but I really don't like flying that much, and I don't see myself flying to say Europe for a while.

Would have liked to have gotten started on the enhanced drivers today, but the secretary of state in Adrian is closed because they're moving across the street this week. Made a mad dash to Ann Arbor to see if I could make it there before they closed. They closed at 5:00pm. I got there at 5:02pm. :mad:

Hm, looks like it's good for ground/water travel throughout North America. The EDL isn't a bad deal, actually, especially if you need to renew your license anyway.

I'm still keeping my passport though, as more of a hope that I'll be able to go overseas again. :o

Evening, Lodge. Still no closer to figuring out what I'm going to do, aside from running and baking cookies. Speaking of, I need to set mise en place for chocolate chip cookies.
