Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Hey guys... Back to the outside world... Les, shoot me an email when you get the time. I trust you to give you the details but I'm not going to blurt them out here. It's been a long and well travelled week, in a sense.
Ck your rep. I emailed you but I realized it will come from my gmail acct. I use the other one.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

It's a miserable misty rain outside. Windy, too. Many of the insects froze off last week, when we had that chilly spell.
And it is awesome. I spent 3 hours outside last night without lathering on the deet and I didn't get a single bite!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Just uploaded Emmy pics in the TV thread. I put all of them on Facebook. And I printed out a bunch. It's been a busy day!

Packing for a 5 day jaunt sucks. Especially when you have to have a couple nice outfits/suit along with normal clothes.

Sent another reply... You know, I'll say the best thing about it was being able to talk to other people and getting to know some good people going through similar issues.

Then its a good thing you don't have to deal with business travel...

I have travelled for business, but in my line of work, you may need one nice outfit. Maybe. ;)

I know what you mean, though.

I can't speak for the rest of the Lodge, but I'm doing well.
Went and got myself hitched this summer. :)
We're working on trying to find jobs back in the Cities; we need out of Ohio.
Otherwise, life's pretty good.
Getting out of Ohio is a wise decision. Ohio= Worse than Wisconsin.

I noticed that jen has reached Maxrep.
Get her a free plate of bacon.

Good afternoon, Lodge.

Cripes that was a long day. Flying home tomorrow, get to syracuse at 1pm. driving to nyc friday for the now almost meaningless yankees/boston series... only thing on the line really is bostons playoff life.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Posting from the new computer. Got one after work for cheap, but it seems to be working fine. I'm sure for all I use a computer for the cheapest POS sold will do just fine. Its not like I play computer games or anything like that. Still ****es me off that I had to spend $300 for something I didn't want to spend $300 on. Also got the tethering app and software for my phone so I don't have to pay for internet.

Did he see Tech play the last couple years? :D I mean, outside of Denver (where we often seem to play DU close).

He claims to be an older person, so as ShirtlessGuy said in our draft tonight, he is probably being nostalgic. Which basically means "out of touch."
