No there is not. Hence my saying, it still sucks, just in a different way. :p

I worked 60-70 hours a week when I was in my early 20's, so I wouldn't have to work mucho OT now. Guess I DL'd.

I didn't think I'd be traveling this much for work...let alone meet someone right before I left...

If that's the type of girl you find...hell I should find a job that makes me travel! :) Honestly that sucks, and of course that's what happens. You have no time/not around for a relationship, then boom. You're in one.

OT is great if it's temporary and done voluntarily. It's pure **** if it's mandatory and long-lasting; yes, you'll earn more money, but you will be far too ****ed up to enjoy that fact until long after the OT ends.

Shirtless, I think he pilots barges and such.

The ****ty part is my bonus is based on total hours worked for a fiscal year which ends at the end of the month. So I should get a nice bonus, but it would have been even bigger if it wasn't for politicians in Minnesota having a ****ing match and causing a 6 week delay in my project. That delay conservatively cost me about $3k in bonus.

EDIT: Granted it gave me a much needed break from this bull**** and a chance to see my gf quite a bit in July but still, if I'm gonna work my *** off I want as much compensation as possible. The crappy part is I could work 60+ hr weeks in October and November and end up with no bonus next year.

Disco. I don't mind 2-4 OT hours a week. But when you're close to hitting double digits, and then some, blech. With my hours, you can't do anything, really. Get home at 9-9:30 at night? F that noise.

Walked up to to get my books this morning and could smell someone was cooking bacon......wonder which poster this was? :)
