Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

I shouldn't dance as much as I did last night. I'm sure I looked ridiculous, but oh well, it was fun. And really how can I say no to all of good looking girls that kept wanting to dance with me?

One of them seems to be pretty into me. For those who were at Gastofs for NHL draft weekend, remember the girl I talked to for 20 minutes or so that wanted to know if I'm a real farm boy? Yep, ran into her. She left on their party bus (bachelorette party) and proceeded to text me all night.

Bahahahahahahahahahha! Really? And she remembered you/you remembered her? That's awesome.
Sunday is going to be awesome. I officially can't wait. :)
In the meantime, though--off to the UP to see my family, and I think there's something about a half-marathon we're all running, too, but I could be mistaken.

Morning all.

Plenty to do today. Breakfast, have to buy oil and filters for the truck, 4-wheeler and mower, refill my propane tank so I can grill again, change oil on all three toys...

The little one might make her first appearance at Matthew's by the end of the year, but not early on....

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

I find it odd when people I barely remember from grammar school and never associated with at all in high school send me friend requests.

So last night was back to normal and hottie bartender was manning the bar. He asked me when I got there last night "Was it really bad last week?" That bartender from last week got fired the next day. I guess a LOT of people *****ed and they had to comp a lot of food and beverages. My friends got three glasses of wine for free but we weren't sure if it was an apology type of deal or if he was too stupid and never put them on the tab.

Was going to take today off but we've already been given the OK to leave at 2:30 and I had a few things to do so I'm here. It's very quiet. Getting a few things done.

Afternoon.

For a day off, today has been busy so far. Logged into work to do a couple odds ends, went grocery shopping for the weekend, started the laundry, paid rent (in person), paid other bills (online brent!).

Time to relax, and have lunch.

Remind me again why I own a piece of property on a giant subduction arc?
Does this mean your property is getting bigger or smaller each day? :D

Because you cannot have nice things.

As for that 4 am call from the 517 area code....I swear it wasn't me (although my work phone is 517....Jackson area)

Hi lodge.

Why don't coworkers understand that supplier visits should be scheduled around college hockey? Purchasing guy wants to go to supplier in AL the end of the month. I want to go to a UAH game and think we should go a Friday in October.

I've already gotten a bunch done today. Who woulda thought that there is a dry cleaning place a mile from my house?

Who woulda thought Wrangler jeans (or anything bought at Fleet Farm) needed to be dry cleaned?

Hi wT! I think you need to train your coworkers better.
