Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

I am all packed up for the wedding weekend. I am guessing I won't get back here Saturday before the wedding so I'm briging everything I need with.

Oh, I have to go to Green Bay for 3 days next week, but its not as bad as it sounds, I get to go with the hottie new girl engineer from the group we work with most often on alternative fuel projects. :)

So what days do you get to go to Green Bay? :D

To the contrary, I would handle the announcement yourself. They're less likely to take it seriously if your boss is the one to tell them, and she's likely to appreciate you showing some leadership from the get-go.

Morning Lodge!
this.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! friday. why is it not evening yet?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

It is someone's BD- I know fro FB but I can't remember teh person's name on here so Happy Birthday~ you know who you are! Have to go to work early :( THe poop is hitting the fan as far as work load. My nurse is not the help she could be and there is no way I am going to be able to keep up the pace without the support I need. :( I should have stayed on the Island.

Tuesday and Wednesday nights. But I don't think I'll be able to do anything while I'm there, with the project we're working on we'll be going out with the customers in the evenings.

And its not a hick bar. It is in St. Louis Park and 98% of the people there are from the suburbs.
Anything associated in any way, shape, or form with Toby Keith is hick. Period.

And those suburbanites going to that bar are merely hick transplants. :p

You say that, but yet, you've never been there, so you really have no clue. Really, the place isn't nearly country enough.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Why is it always a sunny day when I have to drive home after an eye doctor appoinment with my eyes dilated?

Interesting. There was no BD thread started a year ago today either.

It's HuskyNation's (mr. melmac ;)) birthday today. He rarely posts anymore, so I just say it in the Tech thread.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Good Morning, Lodge!

My current employer is so sad to see me go, the president of the company has offered me a contract position so I can work from home in Minnesota.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Thinking I picked a good weekend to pick up an extra sunday shift at Balance. Mom is in Findlay, Ohio at Findlay's equestrian center for a horse show. Dad is up north for this ATV instructor deal. And Tremaine is down in Mississippi for a family reunion. Its just Garrett, the dogs and me this weekend here.

And now I really got a hankering for a BLT sandwich.....

Just told my old credit union to pound sand. They're losing a 10 year customer, and most likely the rest of his family who have been with the credit union literally for decades.

How exactly does one pound sand?

ETA: I think oldish husky actually took my comment in the Tech thread seriously
