Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Morning. I might start crying hysterically. Being forced to listen to a Nickelback CD that my Capt has on our radio. I mean, I guess it isn't coldplay, but....

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Good morning Lodge.

FWIW little gII is three years old today! We had the big party yesterday.

Just got back from a nice long bike ride with the g family. Cripes it was 80 degrees and the humidity was nasty when we left at 7:00 AM this morning.

Going to be another hot sticky day here in 320land. (especially since we received nearly 9 inches of rain Thursday and Friday) Today the plan is to hang out at the lake. Park the pontoon in the midle of the lake and just lounge around, do a little swimming, drink a few cold beverages, snack on some tasty stuff all while enjoying the company of good friends and being with the family.

Mobile intertubes this am. Good morning everyone!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Surprising that I go to Atlanta in the summer and the weather is actually less miserable here than in Minnesota.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Good morning.
With little to no breeze the mosquitoes were fierce at the lake yesterday. And the size of pterodactyls, I think I miss the drought.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

I think we all miss the drought up here. It seems like every ****ing thunderstorm unleashes a flooding deluge these days. Perhaps we should find a way to collect all the excess water and ship it down to $Texas.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

I just walked out to get the mail and almost drowned in the air...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Running this morning was a poor choice. Holy farking humidity.
It's going to suck through Wednesday or Thursday. You might luck out and get an easterly component to the wind at some point and get instant relief from the lake, but the rest of the state is going to roast.

It's a really bad sign when condensation is forming on my windows from the A/C running in here.

Yeah, I'm confident that the A/C is running just to condense the water from the air for the rest of the week. Temperature be ****ed.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

85/83.

One of these is the current temp in Cake Eater land. The other is the current dew point.

Yep.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

I don't even want to think about the upcoming heatwave. We're making sauces and stocks tomorrow in skills 1 and it's going to be miserable.

Good afternoon, Lodge.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

The coolest it's going to be here this week, after today, is 93. Today it's only going to get to 92.

Weather.com is saying 99 on Thursday, 97 on Friday. Weather.gov is at 94 for both days.

They're saying 95, 100, 97, and 95 from Wednesday to Saturday.

I hope they're lying.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

They're not. If they're off, it's only going to be by a couple degrees. It's already in the 90's here.
