Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Good evening Lodge.

I survived the weekend. Wait......I am off the next couple days so I guess my weekend isn't over yet.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Tomorrow, my Skills 1 final gets underway. Knife skills to start, followed by producing two supreme cut chicken breasts and two 5 oz portions of salmon from one whole salmon.

G'Luck Shirtless!

I know the real reason LWB and Mr LWB are leaving WI:

(920):

If this week is any indication of my life here I've got to get out ASAP. My liver can't hack it.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Good luck, Shirtless!

Tonight is, for what it's worth, my Friday. I am not on the schedule for Monday or Tuesday, but I have a meeting and some orders to do tomorrow, and I'll be willing to bet the rest of the week's salary that I'll end up working in some fashion on Tuesday.

Welcome to life. Enjoy the ride. Wear a helmet. ;)

Seriously, that sucks.

Meh, I'm OK with it. It's at the point where it's become humor in the Divadork household. How many days in a row can Diva end up at work in one way or another? Right now, the streak is at 38, and it'll max out at 49 (we're heading to the UP on day 50).

As long as you guys make the Fair.....just sayin'. ;)

Seriously, I'm not a big fair guy, but even I hit the Fair once every few years. The last time I was there was in 2008 - twice that year for a couple Grandstand concerts. The fajitas stand to the north of Machinery Hill was not good, not at all. And I did not like the alligator sausage either, too bland, I don't get the hype on that stand. Other than those two stands, all the food I've had there has been really good in that bad-for-you sort of way.

I love the Gator-brats. And I don't eat odd food. I don't even normally give it a chance.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! moanin' monday

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Good Morning.

Looks like the next few days are trending towards hot. As long as Friday for the fair is beautiful, I can deal with it!

And Thursday too. A day on Thursday just like yesterday would be nice. Clear, sunny, light breeze most of the day, high in upper 70s. Got an e-mail yesterday from a buddy in Houston asking if I can help him find an excuse to come up to MN again. They been getting killed with heat indecies in the 110s to 120s.

Good morning Lodge.

It has been a good day so far. Arrived at the gym at 5 AM and workerd my tail off for 90 minutes. Currently out on the deck with the boys having breakfast. French toast, bacon and strawberries. Next, off to Target to look for the latest DVD release for Thomas the Train.

Good Morning Lodge!

I'm still very jittery from drinking Mountain Dew last night. I only drink it if I'm on the road beyond 1AM.

You didn't mix it with cheap vodka did you? That'll give you worse effects than jittery, believe me I know.

Thanks; nothing left to do but show up and do it!

Good morning, Lodge!
