Nothing like being a scientist and being overridden on a methodological issue by a moron. I haven't worked weeks and months justifying things just for that to happen. That incompetent hack has risen beyond his level of incompetence. Thank god I have beer.

Lil has known the answer since he could talk "ice it!!" (guys used to come in the training room and he used to say "ice it!! ice it!!" The guys used to tell Mr. that he went to school too long when his 2 yr old knew what they needed :D)

well, most of it is "bandage it", "ice it", and "don't do it"... get those three things down and you'll go far :p

In a text? Dumb.

To be fair, I have done the break up via phone call. However, the person in question was not worth the 2 1/2 hour down there to take care of the business face to face. But, still--at least a phone call and not a text.

I think the acceptable method of termination depends on how long you've been together as a couple.

Ya, to be fair, I don't consider that to be a full blown break up text and I'm still hoping that we can talk on the phone and whatever happens, happens. Doing it in person is still 1.5 weeks away or so, and that would require a 6 hour drive down to her place to talk things over.... that isn't happening unless there is a chance to patch things up and make up.

And the rumors of Das Boot seem to be a reality. Now I gotta figure out if I'm cabbing it there or driving and only having a .5 liter.

We got ourselves a typhoon! Big sheets of rain going by, completely horizontal. Looks just like a blizzard, except for the 80 degrees part. :P

I think I might have been the only person on this board to have a truly good day this Tuesday. First I get promoted to lead business analyst, then I got to play an unexpected game of hockey. I need more hockey in my life.

You are correct. Not that I had a horrible day, but I did rate it against the past few weeks. Bad news.
