Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 129: Still got those Winter Blues...

Just took a long walk all the way to the supermarket to pick up a few things. Because I need to start excercising more, even if it's just walking. It's nice out. Cold, but not bad. Lots of sidewalks still ice covered. Hopefully that stuff will start to melt - it's going to 55 on Friday!!

Off to the airport to go pick up the 'rents. They've been in Florida the last two weeks. Thankfully they had really good weather this year.

I did sorta the same thing... the 5 block walk between subway stations because I was already 1 station away and I had brought my cart to the improv class... what I didn't account for, however, was that I had to stand for 40 minutes during the last "game"... I should have taken 15 minutes to sit... instead i went and did my groceries which involved another hour of walking and standing. Oof.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 129: Still got those Winter Blues...

I pulled this at Halloween one year.

If you need white hair, dump a bunch of baby powder in your hair, let it set for a minute, then shake dry.

As for suits, hit up your local Salvation Army or Goodwill. They'll have something horrid I'm sure.

Thanks for the tips. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with my hair yet, there's far too much of it for a Don Cherry costume.

I went to a thrift sale this morning and picked up a few suits. I have a gold one for myself. I'm going to the fabric store to see if I can add a patern to it to make it more hideous. One of my friends will get the Ron Burgundy coat I picked up today. Not sure who yet. I may have to have a bidding war.

You must post pictures after the fact.

Hey bbdl, this sounds like someone we know:

(201):

Her legal name is Candy. Her being a whore is implied.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 129: Still got those Winter Blues...

There should be plenty of seating in the "premium" seating on the vistor's side (sec 112-115). If the students show up (and they'd better since it's senior night!) that end could get loud. In reality, there isn't a bad seat at the Bank so I'd try to sit where you think you'd have the best view.
Cool, thanks! I don't have a dog in the battle that night, so I don't have any need to sit with the Brown fans. Plus my niece wants to root for Quinnipiac.

If you do make it to the game you'd better stop by the 113 sign and say hello! ;)
Well, I was thinking about it. :) I'll be the Mom who's baby is wearing an UNH jersey.

ETA - as it turns out we'll be in section 112 that night.

Good Evening, Lodge!

I am pessimistic about tonight, so I am getting a head start on drinking no matter the outcome.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 129: Still got those Winter Blues...

Eh, my post earlier was a little premature. They "gave" me some points that I should never have gotten, and ended up shooting a 553. Not great by any means, but I'm not as negative as I was immediately after shooting.

Watching the end of the NMU-MSU game. The girl in the NMU shirt behind Walt Kyle needs to be reminded that gravy and ranch dressing are not two of the major food groups.

Good... and I know you like cats! ;)

My suggestion for the the visitor's section was based on more available seats as the QU side will (hopefully) be full. Besides, we stand behind the visitor's bench for a reason!

I like your niece already! :)

You'll have to walk right by us to get to your seats (unless you take the scenic route). Opposing fans tend to be in 113-115. There's a decent QU crowd in 112 and it's fairly close to the students. Keep your eyes open... that section seems to get more than its fair share of pucks off the ice for some reason.

I'll keep my eyes open. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 129: Still got those Winter Blues...

Candy is a more whorish name than Prism. Though anyone named Prism has to be ****ed up.

But when her legal name is Prism Strawberry Love......that outdoes Candy any day of the week in my book.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 129: Still got those Winter Blues...

That's the kind of girl that will bang you and then burn your house down. There's more issues there than Time magazine.

That's fine, in moderation. The only way this girl would eat salad is if it was deep-fried.

Yeah, she's probably batsh* crazy. 32 years old, 7 kids, a go-go dancer, and is in an open relationship, looking for an open relationship. Do the math.

Although for the record, we've only met her once. And I hope that's the last time I see her.

No deposit, no return!!
